I recall Jerry Winchester getting a mustache shaved off at that get together in Sevierville – Good times!

The low ball on the trade does not surprise me at all. That’s always been the case on any trade I have made be it car or MH!

Tom, sounds like Jon is picking on us….well the reason I did it was when we were looking, there was not a Prevost available that we liked for what I was willing to pay. The prices on both new and used have gone crazy. If we were able to find a late model Prevost we liked at a price that was reasonable to us, we would likely consider it. Until then, I guess the brand x stuff will have to do.

I had a similar issue with the Amana Refrigerator in my 2000 H3-45 Featherlite. I replaced the evaporator fan motor and the defrost thermostat and corrected the problem. It was a fairly simple process. Ordered both parts from Amazon:
Whirlpool 10513803 Evaporator Motor – $44.32
Whirlpool R0161088 Defrost Thermostat – $34.18

He/she is braver than me, but there are tons of commercial buses that go though the tunnel daily.

The holes in my Alcoa? aluminum wheels are big enough that if you just tilt the crowfoot and extension slightly, it will pass through the hole. From that point you simply slide the wrench over the stem follow it down to the nut and turn. You turn the extension with a ratchet as you would normally use an extension. Does not have to be very tight, not sure of exact torque spec, but I go by feel. It is about as tight as you would make it if you just grasped the head of the ratchet between thumb and first finger snugly and turned. Too tight and you could squeeze the rubber out from between the wheel and the nut and have a bigger problem to deal with.
The wrench looks bigger than it is in the picture. It is on the end of 3/8 drive extension. Mine took a 1/2″ crowfoot.
If the holes in your wheels are smaller, an old distributor wrench might work, they are a box end wrench with a 90 degree bend about an inch or so from the end, then another bend at the other end to serve as a handle.

Mark and Charlies: Are those Gil’s newest version? Two amber, three red, and one white.
Are the amber for turn signals? Then when you apply the brakes all three red ones light?

Scary thought here. Do any conversions have overvoltage protection from Generator going over 120 volts like mine did to 162 volts ? This could of been a disaster !

Doug, my guess is this applies to Girard, and is it possible to get a photo so folks know where to look?
