I ordered new rotors from prevost today. The parts from meritor are going back to finditparts as they wont fit.
Started up the smoker grill that will go into my entertainment bay to start the seasoning part of the smoker.
Sad news, I have cancelled my trip out west. Just not enough time to get this beast down the road. Goal is still June for having her moving on her own power, but I dont want to road test the bus 1000 miles from home.

I have been towed twice. I have Good Sam Insurance which picked up the entire cost both times. Still have |GS Insurance.

I have one. Works fine for what I want it for. I have it set to only work in the event of a brake away. I also have the wireless brake away switch so all I need to do is plug in the RVI unit to power and I am done after pushing the button 3 times. Lightweight, small unit takes maybe 2 minutes to do.
I do not use or need the stupid tablet and you can buy the unit without it if you desire.
Service is good and tech support is good if you have questions.

Driving I-57 through Illinois there were so many deep pot holes that our Pressure Pro Pulse monitor kept resetting until it finally flashed the message “You appear to have entered a war zone. Seek shelter and we’ll try again tomorrow!” 🙂
Ultimately, the monitor just shut down and would not reset until we stopped for the night. Illinois highways are brutal.
We once received (last March) what turned out to be a false/errant temperature reading of 195 degrees on our front passenger-side steer wheel a few months ago. Had Baton Rouge Diesel check the brake chamber, pads, disc – conducted a DOT test and all was fine with the wheel and tire. Swapped the sensor with the driver’s side and never had an issue since.
Typically saw temperatures up to 125 crossing the desert states. But, mostly in the 110-115 range.
All things considered, grateful for the Pressure Pro system sensors and monitor. Just wasn’t able to use driving most of I-57.

Is there a list of all fans in a coach that need to be tested that can spin freely by hand (or, alternatively, should ALL accessible fans in the coach be able to spin freely by hand when power not engaged)?

Hi Tom,
I was not aware of the Prevost Community Tire Program. The bus is going in for service at Prevost Hayward. Since it is there, I was just going to have them install new tires, but thought I better get a bit educated on price and type in case they ask me any questions as to what type I want.
The first place I looked was FMCA. They list a few tread options, so I was looking for guidance on what tread would be best.
I will check out the Prevost Community Tire Program.
Appreciate the help,

The problem is that many insurance companies will not insure a Coach that has a value over $1M.
When I had the Liberty, SafeCo was the only insurer that would do it and I had to carry two policy’s……. One for $1M and another for the balance. It was getting crazy expensive as it had jumped from $13,000 a year in 2019 to $18,000 for the renewal in 2020. (no claims, no tickets, etc.)
Now that I downsized, I can insure everything with the Tennessee Farm Bureau.
Safe travels,
Mark

Picture shows the correct mounting position of tire on rim. There is no plan “B”. This ring must line up center correctly done on floor usually laying on a piece of carpet, prior to inflation.
If you inspect your tires …all should be as pictured.
When spin balanced this tire will call for very little balance weightsas it is correctly mounted.
I have watched first spin on tires calling for too much weight. The balance man if he knows his job will deflate the tire and rotate it 180 degrees back on his carpet protector.
Re-installing on balance machine corrects a slightly miss aligned tire on rim, thus no need for large amounts of balance weights.
