i just has Chuck at Commonweath Coach replace both Heart inverters with Magnums. My inverters were putting out 93 & 94 volts. Needless to say,I could not run on battery power at all. Ordered 2 magnums and the controls heads. Both are installed and working great.

I agree! I had an old log truck mechanic help me replace my filter dryer. All he used were 6X6 and 8X8 and various thickness of hardwood blocks to block up the bus. They worked really well. All the grease that was on them helped preserve them. No need for pressure treated with all that oil and grease on them. On the dirt he would throw a piece of 12″ steel channel under them. Worked great!

I just used my last two gallons of Shell Rotella “heavy duty” T 40w to top off my 8V92 and the extra reservoir. Nobody I can find around San Diego stocks the same replacement, but I understand from posts here that O’reilly’s can order it.
I did find recently that NAPA stocks a “straight grade” 40w T1 oil with only slightly different specs. On the Shell website it is listed as a “medium duty” oil, but 8V92 is listed under compatible applications.
So, two my questions are: 1. Is this OK for my 40,000+ pound busrv in general highway use? 2. Can I mix this oil with the old T-heavy duty 40w before my next oil change?

Just so you know, the US doesn’t have a monopoly on idiots on the road. Suffice to say, I see similar things to what you describe here in the UK all the time. I like the m’cycle cos very few people try to ‘race’ you and my truck as unlike the US, it is likely to be more intimidating than most other vehicles on the road. Have yet to find someone willing to try it on. Like you Jon, more often than not, I let the other idiots fight for that exta couple of yards progress and I just do my thing on the near side lane.
Trouble is, you can’t tell an idiot he (or she) is an idiot because they think they are gods gift to driving.

I always start looking for parts by doing an internet search. If you can get a manufacturer’s name, a part number or even the correct trade name or description the odds are very good that you will find the part and a listing of distrubutors or dealers.

Here is how I look at it, you decided to purchase a Prevost, with that comes a certain responsibility and sometimes a cost to own the best. When it comes to minimizing electrical issues, you want to protect your electronics and want to use the coach with less problems. Many coaches advertise that they have surge protection, but it is normally not adequate and does not protect against bad wiring issues at an RV park pedestal, like open neutral, open ground, reverse polarity or low voltage.
The best all around protection for the money is Progressive Industries EMS-PT50C. They typically can be found for around 3500, but it is excellent insurance on saving 10-20k on replacing electronics. Don’t waste your money on a lessor one, and I would suggest that if you have something already, get rid of it and purchase one of these, this will be your best purchase for protection, regardless if you coach has built in protection or not.Disclaimer: this information is free, however, after you purchase one and you go to a rv park and when you plug into a pedestal and you get an error on open neutral, just remember, I saved you at lest 10k. Please go ahead and mail me the check for 10k, since that is what you would of spent if not more… -

I asked the tech and he said we have an OUTBACK brand inverter/charger. It is in the same compartment as the Lithium Ion batteries and inverters.
This is how it’s listed on our spec sheet:
4- 3500 watt -24 volt OutBack Sine Wave Inverters 3- Lithium Ion 24 volt Mastervolt Batteries interfaced to the Mastervolt Network for
complete monitoring of battery history. Battery life expected to be 10 years. 1 maintenance-free generator starting battery with auto boost from house batteries
