Yes some coaches had manual fill for the gen air bags, my Royale had that and I put in auto fill for the gen bags

yes, my Liberty has them on all four corners and they are all interconnected and fill automatically.

Raveson, the generator in my American Coach conversion was installed by AAP in Virginia. (The same company that supplies Cruisairs). If yours is labeled “C Gen Power” on the control panel it was probably installed by AAP. If so, they can probably help. My gen is on solid mounts, so I have no advice.

There is a post in gen when I hooked the bags to auto fill from aux comp , I put in check valve and a ball valve and a gauge at gen , also I put in regulator to set pressure , mine were hard to get to back ones did not have to mess with them just front ones joined them in front , took manual fill valves out put comp fittings in and joined them together should be easy just have to find aux air line from aux comp. Thanks for the feed back. I don’t have an aux compreser. Good to keep the lines free of moisture but some disadvantages. Not sure if I should try to add into the aux tank lines or just leave well enough alone.

You can add aux comp just for the gen air bags and that way no water in anything but gen air lines and bags and add Norgren filter for it, that’s the way my Royale was just for gen air bags nothing else

An alternative would be to mount a small aux air tank. Prevost has two points where you can tap into the aux air system, both marked with a plastic label that says something like “converter air supply:. That is the ideal point because it is a protection valve so if your self installed air system failes the protection valve prevents air loss that affects brakes.

I suggest that because a small tank installed with a check valve will hold air for a long time if all you connect is a regulator and air lines to the generator. If thay are OK you will hold air in the generator air bag for months.

The two points are at the aft bulkhead in the steer compartment, and at the rear of the small compartment behind the tag axle, passenger side.

Does anyone know the best place to order these from ? One of mine is leaking air and I’ve already saw to all the fittings around it with teflon tape so I think it must be the air bag. They are Firestone. I’ve got an email into one supplier with this photo that will likely be able to identify the model of the bag. Don’t see much of anything on the bag for a model number except “Air Mount” but that’s not the model designation. I don’t suppose there is going to be much difference in price and these are cheap but since I always screw things up I thought to ask.

I always start looking for parts by doing an internet search. If you can get a manufacturer’s name, a part number or even the correct trade name or description the odds are very good that you will find the part and a listing of distrubutors or dealers.

This I believe is the correct bag for the Gen, at least the Gen bags on mid to late ’90s Royales
