Actually it was me in Colorado Springs on our first trip with the bus to higher elevations. I thought the engine had gone bad until I realized we were at altitude.
The S-60 is a dream however.

Both prospective buyers were from word of mouth. Neither seemed to care about the interrior or the mechanics of the bus, just the paint. But the bus is worth more than $36-8K that NAD states, for sure. On the Nada Internet site, they also list 1989, 1990 Liberty Coaches too.

Hi Al,
Thank you for your reply. I do need to buy a regulator and would appreciate the part number. I will replace the push valves while I am at it. I am not sure what/where the check valve is but will replace while the system is drained.
thanks again,
Larry

My first motorhome was a Winnebago Adventurer on a Chevy chassis. I bought it new and had owned it about 8 months. It blew a transmission line above the exhaust, and the fluid ignited. Transmission fluid burns really well, and the transmission holds a lot of fluid, so there was a constant source of fuel for the fire.
The coach had an on board propane tank and a full gas tank (75 gallons).
My dog became agitated about 8 seconds before the smoke alarm went off. I and my occupants did not realize there was a fire until we saw an orange glow coming from under the drivers area. It was a mid entry coach, so we were able to escape without incident.
I went back in the coach two times to retrieve valuable items, but in the excitement, I neglected to retrieve my cell phone, wallet, or keys. I have heard firefighters refer to a “wall of smoke.” Now I know what that means. Not one of my smarter moves. It was really, really hot in there, and zero visibility. The coach was completely destroyed. The windshield frame remained standing (minus the glass), otherwise the coach was leveled to the frame.
We were on a dirt road in the middle of a pine forest in June, during one of the worst Florida droughts on record. As the coach burned to the ground, it started several small fires in the woods. It was awesome!
I learned a lot from that incident, particularly how insurance companies attempt to avoid paying claims for which they are oblgated.
We had three ABC powder fire extinguishers, used them all, and could not put the fire out. Now I carry foam extinguishers.

I suggested Grizz contact Leon and if this is what he has, I got him covered.

I apologize in advance if I offend any Legendary owners with my comments. They are nice coaches, their fit and finish, and floor plans are more like a fiberglass mid range coach. But they are a price point coach. I had a country coach with the same ac units. This coach will NOT compare to the OTR ac. If that is important, this will not be the same. I had one ac unit that stopped working while on the road and having just one was unbearable to say the least, we actually had to cut our trip short and go back home, because it was too hot inside the coach and not everyone can work on these basement units. I had to find a specialist to fix mine and it took several weeks to get it resolved. Also they recommend while driving the coach, that you only run the passenger side ac and not the driver side ac. The front slide covers the upper vents and creates high pressure on the ac unit and can cause it to trip a breaker. So if you are driving with only one ac it gets warm. I live in Florida as well and ac is important.

Tom and I are very happy to announce a new discount program available to Prevost Community members from Blue Beacon Truck Washes. The discount card being offered will provide a 10% discount for 12 months and can be used at all Blue Beacon locations. Each discount card also comes with one coupon for a free Rain-X® Complete application. The Blue Beacon web site is http://www.bluebeacon.com/ and on the site you will find a listing of all locations as well as an app you can download.
Blue Beacon is well aware of the level of pride that Prevost Community members have in their coaches. Their washing service reflects your concern by using people, not machines, to wash your coach with only warm, soapy water. You can find more information about Blue Beacon’s motorcoach washing services here: http://www.bluebeacon.com/
RVMotorCoachWashing/ RVBenefits/. To get the discount and free Rain-X® Complete you will need a discount card. A card and coupon will be sent to you if you send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Jon Wehrenberg at 6745 Thorngrove Pike, Knoxville TN, 37914. As soon as the cards are received from Blue Beacon they will be sent to you. Tom and I will also make cards available at rallies such as Oysterfest.
Cards will be sent out starting around 3/28.

In a coach intake air can be differant. Spread in air temp at ceiling could be 80 deg with the fact that heat rises and cold falls the intake air could be 10 degree differant. or 70 degree. Mixing air layers top to bottom will give you a more constant intake temp . I have done this with a small ceiling fan(20 inch) mounted above driver. Just a possibility that I take care of when building coach as a home builder. Bob
On the present build I took care of the layering by usind a evaporator that has moving vents both horrizontal and verticle. No ceiling fan needed this time. Bob
