Here’s another trick you can use if you don’t want to change out the gauges. I had dim lighting on my 97 Marathon, so I removed all the 24 volt gauge mini bulbs and replaced with 12v. Now before you go nuts thinking I lost my mind, it’s a simple matter of turning the dimmer all the way down and then ease it back up until you get 13 -14 volts and then mark the setting on the knob. Lights were nice and bright, made a big difference. Of course if you sell the bus, better tell the buyer not to crank up the dimmer.:)
Those little tiny bulbs are 12 or 24.

Click to view larger imageThis system was designed for a user requiring large quantities of pure water with limited space thus demanding the system to be extremely portable and compact. The fact that the system will also produce DI water at the lowest cost per gallon provides an additional benefit related to return on investment and ongoing operating cost. Made up of one ¼ cubic foot tank of virgin cation resin and two ¼ cubic foot tanks of virgin anion resin this deionizer will produce approximately 2 times the amount of water as the dual tank deionizer. Stage 1 is the cation tank and stages 2 and 3 are anion tanks. This system needs an area of 30″ wide by 22″ high by 10″ deep for hook-up. At 54 pounds, moving the unit is no problem. Comes complete with the deionizer, 4′ high pressure hose, hand-held TDS meter, shut-off valve, and a cap/plug for the inlet/outlet.

This is the DI system I have for rinse. Spray with city water, brush with soapy water, rinse with DI, about 95% less
water spots. I use the mist setting on the nozzle, included.
About 25 rinses before gauge displays recharge neccessary

Did you ever think we were missing a few brain cells?? Sometimes I feel overwhelmed! But sure feels good when it comes together.. Down side is don’t have the luxury /access to some of the high quality materials available and in some cases $$$$ to purchase them… Upside I do know the Dumbass that built the thing and how he did it when something goes wrong…So life is a trade off and we all live to a level in life that we can be happy with—Seems like I do envy those shinny new ones but realize that I would need to take it to the dealer to get some High Tech breakdown fixed that would be a bank breaker for me. Engine or something major I’d load it up on wrecker and send it home and fix or if over 1500 mile out maybe bring engine( I have spare) to it and pay to have it changed.. That is the real life I live in…. Enough reality check—-maybe we need to say it once a year or so…. Im finding out we are not much differant that many of the store bought owners… Glad for that fellowship!!

Thanks for your reply… I guess I didn’t make it clear but he swapped the Black Water Sensor to the Grey Water and it didn’t work there either and the Grey Water sensor did work on the Back Water location so we assumed that the Balck Water Sensor was bad. The red lights are lit to the full mark all the time but only on the Black Water Sensor.

A minor correction: The Prevost to which I referred did not slide off the hill, it just got stuck in the mud. Not really a big deal, it happened to several RVs that day.

The doctor told me this evening that most of the stitches in my scalp will be covered by a new toupee from the Hair Club. Also most of the swelling is expected to resolve itself within the next ten days however I may walk with a bit of a limp. I bought a tub full of leeches to get rid of the bruising…

Ron, I’ve seen a motorized and steerable tongue wheel on a stacker and watched the coach owner move the trailer through the park to the storage lot. I thought it was a good idea for someone that is going to trailer a lot. This isn’t like the one I saw which was permantly mounted, but it gives you something to consider.
