It is our Renegade Ikon coming in July. We thought we would not miss having a motorhome, but we were wrong! After I found a place to keep it, we decided to pull the plug on one being delivered around the 1st of July. Has most everything we wanted and had in our last coach from Liberty but at about 1/3 the price tag. 5 year warranty on engine and tranny, and 3 years on the house stuff is not bad either.
Will post a pic or two when we get them after it is finished.

To keep life simple, and have less tuff to think about I’ll pay the higher premium price associated with the lack of an EZ pass.
The number of times I am on a toll road per decade I can count on the fingers of one or two hands and will continue to remain in the dark ages.

I have owned this building over 20 years. 60 ft x 15-16 ft. water, electric, sewer, heated, a/c.
Operating permit recently changed from rental to condo ownership. 7 stalls sold in 8 months, kept 1. Missouri LLC.

There are 10 total Norgrens, 5 in the front and 5 in the rear.
Just inside the steer compartment door, on the bulkhead to the lower right near the 5 stack, is a Norgren 3port/2 way K910026 = K41EA00KS1KA2 spool valve, and the upper is a 5port/3 way K910058 = K81EA00KACKAC.
Just fwd and above the steer axle is a K910026 = K41EA00KS1KA2.
Then on the floor of the steer compartment, for the AUTO leveling option, there are two electric Norgren spool valves= K41EA00KS1KV2.
In the rear on the bulkhead just fwd of the drive axle, there are two, a left and a right, Norgren 5 port/3 way spool valves, Prevost # K910058 = Norgren# K81EA00KACKAC.
There are 3 more Norgrens on the inside of the frame rails above the tag axle. 2 on the street side and one on the curb side. Their part #s depend on your buses tag logic/mod status. Your yr model could have the old tag bag reverse logic that allows the tag bags to deflate when the accessory system pressure drops below about 30 psi. Prevost issued a service bulletin, # 96-14B, to change the system so this would not happen.
Your bus could have come from the factory with the new logic incorporated?, or a previous owner may have had it installed?
So what tag logic do you have? If you have an inversion valve? you have the new improved logic that keeps the rear from sagging when the accessory pressure drops below 30 psi.

Well, I ran into this same situation as the original poster today. You would think after owning the coach for 6 yrs. I would have checked the ‘extra’ cords that Liberty supplied (just never needed them).
I see that the coach rear outlet says ’50 amp’ but is 3-pronged, the cord has a sticker on it that says ’50 amp’. But, it’s 3-pronged on both ends.
Actually, that works for me as I decided to connect from the rear in my California storage garage which is 30 amp. I have set the inverters for 30 amp. The garage connection is at the rear as I pull in forward and is on the passenger side. It’s only 2 ft. away once I’m parked. All these years I’ve been dragging the shore cord around the back of the coach to connect.
So, if the cord is 50 amp, why does it have a 3-pronged plug on the end that goes in the wall outlet? If I were needing a 50 amp connection at the rear at a RV park, is there an adapter to plug into a 50 amp outlet but will accept the 3-pronged 50 amp plug on Liberty’s 50 amp cord?
I see that Jeff says get a whole new cable but I would have to change the coach 3-prong connection to regular 4-prong, right?
Just seems strange that they did it that way as they also gave me a 50-to-30 amp dog bone along with all the cords supplied which I use for the regular shore cord.

Some coaches will throw a belt if the belt tensioners do not have air. To avoid the issue some owners run the aux compressors to add air to the chassis accessory system, turn the key and wait a few seconds to allow the accessory air pressure to fill the belt tensioners and then start the coach.
I never had that problem because I would never go off slow idle until my engine ran for a while, but I eliminated the pneumatic belt tensioner system because if it wasn’t the valve leaking, it was the regulator, or the push in fittings or the mini-air bags. If they were all OK it was the check valve.
Now my belts are always tight and if I have to replace one, all I need is 2 15/16″ open end wrenches and about 2 minutes and I can have the old belt off. Not as quick as the turning of a valve, but in 31 years of owning buses I have never had to replace a belt while traveling.

AL, I learned a tough lesson on painting one these buses. This is a single stage process. The first bus I went and bought $2000 worth of metallic auto paint. Without a professional paint booth it’s hard to make it work. I did a little research and a professional painter he showed me how to custom match Rustoleum to my Jaguar convertible. Using mineral spirits with the paint it retarded the drying time and made a great shine. After a couple months curing wiped it down with Lacquer thinner and waxed with buffer. Test is I’m wondering if it will hold up. We’ll see!!! Anyway paint job costed $85 over a period of a year to complete because I had limited time and weather. I steered away from clear coat because you really have to know what you’re doing or you get the peel going on when paint gets old.

The #1 top armature/coil on your 5-stack is the air supply to the pilot(12) of the K910026 spool valve that you replaced. When you turn the key off, the #1 armature/coil is de-energized and it is suppose to close not allowing any air to that #12 pilot on the K910026 spool valve. Take that line off at #12 pilot and see if air is flowing. If it is the armature is leaking.

That is not going to be cheap to fix and I suggest you get them to do the repair at their expense.
I am surprised to see the studs failed. It is usually the inner nut that fails somewhere near the end of the threads and the square portion, and that failure usually occurs when trying to remove it.

Good caution on the Raritan, my first Liberty required the water tank to be cut out for exactly the reasons Jon just mentioned.

Glad to hear you’ve recovered. Did Judy have to do the harvest by herself? Or were you able to struggle to the combine and carry your weight?
