Bus leaning to the left
Hello,
My bus was losing air and leaning to the left. I brought it to Prevost Hayward to see if they can correct the problem. I have read in past post that tracking down air leaks can be costly, so I told them to go ahead and just replace all 4 3 way Norgen valves. After their level 3 service, they also suggested to replace all rear and tag airbags, so I went ahead and had that done. I picked up the bus after having several others items worked on and drove back to my storage yard. The next morning, I was a bit disappointed when the bus was leaning to the left. I am going to bring it back to Prevost in a few weeks. With a shop rate of $160 an hour, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas where Prevost should begin to look for the leak?
I did do some experimenting. I aired up the bus and left “level lo” switch in drive. Bus lost air on left side after about 10 hours. I repeated this an moved the “level lo” switch to the “left”, “right” and then “front” with all the same results. After about 10 hour bus lost air on left side.
I also noticed that when airing up, the right side airs much faster than the left side. I would have thought they would raise at the same pace.
Any help would be appreciated to help point the Provost tech in the right direction.

Jerry, it sounds like you did all the right things. However while the 3 port valves you replaced could have been the problems it is also possible the 5 port Norgren on the bulkhead forward of the drive axle could be an issue.
If you can see it spray it liberally with soapy water. Sometimes they can wear and air can leak past the internal spool and out the end caps.
If that does not show a leak see if you are getting air leaking from the three port valve in the steer compartment that is mounted on the rear wall near the solenoid valve stack. It is used to exhaust air when you lower the coach and if it is not a lot of trouble put a pipe plug in the exhaust port.
Finally in front of the fender liner is the ride height valve. See if that is leaking.
As a practical matter since your service was prompted by the leans, Prevost should not have let the coach out of the shop before verifying there were no leaks. If it turns out something they replaced has a leaky fitting or a leak the cost of repair is on Prevost.

I really appreciate your suggestions. I will take a look this weekend.
Overall I am pleased with all the work they did. I was not pleased to find dead start batteries the next morning. They apologized, they thought I would be running the bus longer to charge up the batteries before I parked it. They did send a mobile tech out to jump, but to be safe and not knowing how old the batteries were, I had them all replaced.

Jerry also look at air schematics there is a 3 port Norgren valve inside rear frame by tag there is 2 of them rear one is for tag lift and tag brakes #31 next one closer to front is tied to rear bags and it has exhaust #79 could be the culpert

when we bought our Liberty, I had Prevost replace all the Norgrens and switch to compression fittings. We, also, had the leans.

Plus, replaced all the air bags. She sits level for weeks.

I post this often, Don’t forget the tag brake interlock valve gets its pilot air from the Tag bag line. If that (R-12, I think) leaks the bus will lean to one side or the other depending on which one leaks (in your case the left side).
Mine still leaned even after new Norgrens and new air bags, until I changed this valve.
