Had that same issue on driver’s side. Removed upper glass, found a connection pulled apart. Lengethened that connector a little, cleaned up the others, and reattached mirror glass. My glass came off so easy it likely was close to falling off anyway.

Let’s begin any discussion by saying clearly every single converter, current or former has almost always produced a high quality, robust, reliable conversion.

Let’s also understand there is not a single perfect conversion because every one has features and attributes ideal for some owners, yet not so ideal for others.

You are going to find brand loyalty. You are going to find differences between conversions that make them more like what some customers want, and yet others find the same conversions not to their liking.

Some are known by their converter’s “signatures” such as their paint jobs, floor plans or accessories.

We all have praised our own conversions, and have trashed others because ball breaking is a great way to have fun on forums, but in the hundreds of thousands of posts I have seen over decades I have never seen a post by someone who has trashed a conversion such that the intent was to talk folks out of ever buying that conversion.

I can bore people to death bragging about my Liberty coaches, but I can also use a lot of bandwidth telling about things I see that need improvement or lacking. I am certain other owners of different can do the same.

But how do the truckers get the message to put the phone down?

They have gotten as stupid as the 4 wheelers.

I removed my outer pane on my 1990 driver’s side back in 2013. Don’t miss it a bit. I just aim the vent on it. It does steam up a bit on a cool morning, but it’s no big deal.

I just had Jeff replace too really foggy windows on my 2001 H3. Not cheap, but well worth it. No fun trying to see through the foggy window with the sun shining through it. Way cheaper than an accident.

Tom, that is their outdoor dryer.

They run the S60 for awhile and it blows all the hot air out the vented engine door and dries the cloths.

I will likely schedule a stop in NJ for the AC work and get the hose locally here. That was my thought to see if any bus companies here do outside work which I have done in other parts of the country with success. Will see…

I spoke with Prevost and they have a 1 year warranty on the hose which ended late July, so I am out of luck on that.

On a refrigeration system such as the OTR on our coaches at normal ambient outside temperatures a system at rest and at ambient temperatures the entire system is going to be in the 70 PSI range, higher if outside temps are elevated.

When operating the pressure side of the system can be as high as about 200 PSI (I am guessing and not looking at the charts) so that failure is an indication the hose was defective.

The entire system needs to be vaccuumed, oil level restored, a new dryer added, pressure tested with nitrogen at around 300 PSI, and then filled with 134A.

Thank you all for the input. After opening the panel we discovered there are 2 outlet boxes – one is working and the other has no power. The dead outlet controls the tv power, we were able to plug the tv into the working box and tv turned on. We pulled the 3 relays and replaced back into the box, no change.

    1. All breakers are on and lit red in the outside breaker box. How could one outlet not be working? Are we missing someplace to look for breaker issue? The kitchen GF outlets all working none are reset.

    2. The TV lift magnets disengage when you press the lift button however the lift motor does nothing.

    Suggestions?

Working on changing the dash gauge lights to LED. Several of the old bulbs had melted the plastic bubble they sit in on the back of the gauge. Some light bulbs coming out in pieces. After replacing all the bulbs, during the test one started to flicker, then all went out, followed by the smell of melting plastic.

One of the new LED bulbs had dislodged one of the little yellow squares and shorted out. Now no power to the instrument panel. Exterior running lights work when switch activated, but no power to dash gauges.

Trying to trace wire 114 to find a fuse or something tripped. Checked circuit breakers front and back and none tripped.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

It is likely the tank expanded because two things happened during its life. First, the temperature/pressure relief valve started dripping and someone who did not realize the one on the tank has to be a 75 PSI valve replaced it with a valve available at Lowe’s or Home Depot that was the common 175 PSI valve used in home HW tanks.

That alone did not cause the tank to expand. But Liberty coaches have an expansion tank in the water system and a check valve in the water supply line to the HW tank. If the expansion tank bladder failed due to age and the tank was no longer functioning (the water pump would short cycle) as the tank water expanded when being heated especially by engine coolant the expansion was not absorbed by the expansion or accumulator tank and the resulting build up of pressure made the tank top and bottom expand. That expansion could have also been caused by the in line check valve which should have a minute hole to restrict water flow, but not prevent it. The check valve protects against a back flow of scalding water in the event of a pipe failure, but it does need to allow expanding water in the tank to distribute the increased pressure to the expansion tank.

If the tank has expanded so much that it is wedged between the top and bottom of the bay it may need to be cut out of place, a nasty job.

Liberty owners need to pay attention to this feature of their plumbing system and above all else never replace a 75 PSI valve with a 175 PSI valve.

Jeff, I bought a deep dish steering wheel from VIP for my 1998 Prevost XL. They installed a long collar to clear the turn signal lever. VIP is located in Elk Grove Il, north of Chicago.
