Maybe the only use I have heard for one of these self driving rig.

in this instance, the monitor could have left his seat leaving the bus on auto and gone to the bedroom opened a window and used one of many choice weapons out the window.

The dirtbag throwing the fire bomb obviously thought the bus was a runaway.

Terrible we have people in this country with such a total disregard for others. California is not the only state for craziness but sure seems to have the first right of refusal!

Our coaches bring a wide range of reactions. Over the years we have seen and heard almost all of them. They have ranged from people really happy to have seen a coach and who have had the opportunity to take photos as they passed in a car, smiling and waving.

At the other end of the scale we have had folks give us the finger or light up the CB with terms like “rich bastard” or comments about how we cheated someone to get the money to own a Prevost.

We have no stickers of any kind on the coach to indicate any political leanings, or any position on sensitive issues like gun control or abortion.

It is not difficult to understand in today’s world with mall or school shootings there are bad people doing very bad things and none of them have limits to what they will do or who they will do it to. All of us at some time have even innocently pissed someone off by not being able to move over a lane when they were merging from an on ramp. On numerous occasions that has happened to us because there were cars on our left side while someone merging on the passenger side assumed we were just being jerks for not moving over. Fortunately their reaction was only blowing their horn or shaking their fist as they passed. They could just as easily pointed a gun or thrown a fire bomb.

No state can claim to own all the nutcases. They are everywhere. Some however seem to have a greater share of whackos.

Be thankful there are no widespread reports of the incident.

The last thing needed is to give copycats more ideas about how to create harm or injure people.

We had an incident happen while we had the coach in an RV park near our home-base so that we could take it in for service at Prevost (we were not in the coach, this was back in 2016).

So, the next morning we go and pick up the coach and head 200 miles to Prevost Goodlettsville. As we arrived, there were not any spots with plug-in’s available so I turned on the generator.

I was still rolling looking for a parking spot and I could see the exhaust pipe in my driver’s side mirror. I could tell that the generator was running rough and looked in my mirror and black stuff was coming out of the exhaust.

The best way to explain what it looked like was black sawdust which oozed out in clumps. If I could have scooped it up (I left a trail because I was rolling), I would say it was a couple of cups of worth.

After it came out, the genny ran smooth and no problems. I’m thinking some idiot thought it was our engine exhaust. But, ours exhaust exits out the roof at the rear. The exhaust for our webasto exits in the engine compartment and can’t be seen.

    Very strange occurrence.
