UPPER RAMCO MIRROR WON’T ADJUST
using my electrical control. I can move it by manually pushing on the glass. This is the small convex piece. Anybody run into before?

Joel, before trying to pull the mirror off and seeing if it is the motor, check to see if power is getting to it. The easiest place I think is to remove the 4 screws holding the arm and if my memory is correct there is a plug or connector there. From the plug the multitude of wires goes to the motors and heating elements. I assume if there is power at the connector the motor is bad, but I think there are two so if both do not work it is wiring or switch.
The above is nothing more than a guess.

Interesting. As I think about it, there probably are two motors on each glass; one for vertical and one for horizontal. Do you know if Prevost wiring diagrams include mirrors?

Had that same issue on driver’s side. Removed upper glass, found a connection pulled apart. Lengethened that connector a little, cleaned up the others, and reattached mirror glass. My glass came off so easy it likely was close to falling off anyway.

Thanks for all the help but it was operator error. The Prevost replacement switch for that mirror which I had installed long ago is a 3 position switch with a neutral position. oops

Obviously I was joking, but one thing is evident and that is if a PC member needs help other members go out of their way to provide that help. So we do have 4300 friends.
