Go ahead and list it!
If I was in the market for it I would be beating down your door. We looked for years before we found a solid coach at an affordable price. In this world those two things seem so be mutually exclusive. I think you ought to list your 89′ and make somebody a good deal!

John,
Standby for a report in the next few days from me, the Cricket rep is here at Riverbend for the RV show and I’ll check them out.

I want to make those dates open to attend.
Thank you for your reply.

Excellent idea to let Maddie help with the evaluation. If she wishes she can communicate with our Rauchy III.
You know what we want for sites. Level, concrete pads, easy to get into, ample 50 amp power, etc. Both RV parks would like to host our rally so to help make the decision we need to verify sufficient acceptable spaces, a meeting facility, and possibly and area for show coaches.

Jon,
I am still working on Rob so that we can come! My hope is to bring the motorhome conversion; however, if it is one of our entertainers, it will have to be the orange or blue as they have a shower! If the green one is finished it will have a shower so maybe the trip to AL can be its maiden voyage! 🙂
Is there a number on how many are attending the AL rally? I got an email today saying you need to reserve your spot because they are releasing the spots for other motorhome customers. I need to nail Rob down on an answer but he keeps asking – how many is attending! 🙂 If either you or Jamie can answer that question, I would appreciate it!

Good to know. I might just pick up one and put on coach to see how it looks. Four tires and wheels for 2 grand = same as 8 tires and wheels is a big savings in this case. Tires apear to have around 15,000 miles on them according to papers and are 2010 mfg. I would probably never wear them out before they dry rotted. I know guy well and he will let me try and check clearances.

The one in question is aprox 5/8 inside diameter less than 1/16th thick teflon/plastic od is 3/4 including stainless braiding. hope this helps your hose guy. don’t see why a 5/8 barbed fitting would not make repair. Aero quip would be permanent repair. The stainless steel in this case has a protective function. Best of luck Bob You don’t have enough slack in it that you could just cut it off and put the end fitting back on it???? might be seeing picture wrong.

Has an area been selected at Ocean Lakes for the Prevost Community? Is the Community considerd to be part of the Royal group? Hate to make a reservation and find myself on the other side of the park. Sounds like a one tank trip and should be a lot of fun.

I have always wondered why my amp meters appeared to be showing much lower than expected. (1998 Royale #231). I have the donut design in the breaker box.
I look forward to hearing your fixes. I will not get to the correction or be able to provide any input until we return home to Michigan in the spring.

Rob,
Something changed when you rewired.
Without pulling your wiring diagrams I have some free thinking about places I would look. First, your headlights are 12 volt so pay special attention to how the battery cables have been connected. Your batteries are set up to provide both 12 and 24 volts, and the equalizer is there to maintain the relationship between both voltages.
Your 12 volt side should be exactly 1/2 the voltage of the 24 volt side plus or minus 1/2 volt. I would start by verifying that under various conditions, such as engine running, engine off, lights on, lights off, etc. Apart from lights the 12 volt side is critical because it is the power source for DDEC.
I don’t know if this applies, but Prevost had a service bulletin at one time that modified the wiring in the front box because when the headlights were turned on or went to high beam (I cannot remember which) it caused a voltage drop that was affecting DDEC. It would be worth checking voltage at the lights and at the terminals for the lights in the front box. If the 12 volt supply is marginal DDEC may be affected. I have no clue how to check to get access to the service bulletin. Maybe Prevost is on here now and can jump in and answer.

Yours is much newer Gary so it might be different. The book on mine is 11.5″.

Bob,
I like your AC approach. Can you provide details about the units you used and the installation. I have a 1997 Marathon coach with RVAC units and they are very weak.
Thanks,
Bill

Gary understand back problems. Meeeee tooo didn’t sign up for that!! Glad it worked out. Glad to know your first name. A coach that new shouldn’t have had dryer problems already unless you got a 100,000 miles on her. If you do good for you. Any thing else come up just yell. If I’m close; might have a friend close we will help out. No $ involved for me–might have to feed me. Have bus friends in lower 48 and Alaska. Will be in Florida Feb thru April myself in Ocola area. Tom & Jon – thanks for creating Prevost Community! This could be the start of something big! The forum looks great and seems user friendly. I can’t wait to see the rest of the modules as they come online! I wish you every success with the site and stand ready to help in any way I can!
