  • Homebuilder selling coach?

Posted by Bob on March 10, 2012 at 7:39 pm

Some of you know me and that I am building a 98 XLE that was fire damaged. That project is comming to a end and is leaving me with a 89 Prevost dual slide coach. I’m sort of intimidated to put it for sale in the prevost coaches for sale. Above listing. Two reasons first is it’s not a factory conversion-2nd price. It is a solid coach with 2 slide outs and basic equipment. Is very user friendly with a island kitchen. Price is $35,000 dollars.Everything else is over 100grand. While I am very impressed and glad several of the readers can afford these prices I feel there is a market for people like me who want something a taste of the prevost quality. Where does my add belong? Try as I might I will never be able to write the check for a new coach so I take the hand me downs and rebuild them. Bob

    Go ahead and list it!

If I was in the market for it I would be beating down your door. We looked for years before we found a solid coach at an affordable price. In this world those two things seem so be mutually exclusive. I think you ought to list your 89′ and make somebody a good deal!

List it Bob. It will be a free listing until 6/1. If you have any problems let me or Tom know.

The more photos you post the better so make sure you get as many of the coach’s details shown.

    Bob,

I have been following your unique solutions for upgrading your coach. I’m sure many of the Prevost Community members would like to see what you have accomplished. Of particular interest will probably be the slides you have added to the coach. Please put together a photo presentation and list your coach. You may get more than you expect.

The 89 is leaving for texas Monday to it’s new home. I will let John make his self known if he wishes. Just the mention of it being for sale was enough. Not perfect but a good foundation to build up on. Now to finish the XLE so I can have a ride.I will be idle for awhile because of back reconstruction but have high hope of a quick recovery and back to bus building. Bob.
