FWIW, my recollection is that the jetpac had a built in accumulater and the mach5 does not. Sure you have an accumulator?

FWIW I have never encountered a hill I couldn’t take in 3rd, but I also know if it is steep enough or has a curve that lowers the speed it would not necessarily allow 3rd. Going up a hill that is steep traction on a hard surface is not an issue, but the same hill going backwards can cause the loss of traction as weight shifts forward so the driving technique may come into play. I will never suggest to anyone backing up my driveway to lift their foot from the go pedal because it is likely they will lose traction. Each circumstance may be different so decisions about technique are going to vary when needed.

On the Versa, you can push the little red button at each end to activate it. If it operates the step cover in both directions, you’ve narrowed it down to an electrical problem. If it doesn’t, then that indicates an air problem.

On my bus, the fitting in the back engine bay is before the AD-2 dryer. The one in the steer bay runs thru a water filter before entering the tank.

No shut off switch on dash. Only chassis battery shut off switch I am aware of is a toggle switch on the panel to the right and above the chassis batteries inside the side engine compartment door.
I did check the rear start switch and get nothing, not even a click.

Got it, keep looking, you’ll find the right bus and then the biggest problem you’ll have is the permanent smile.

Sraffio where are you located? Is the coach in risk of freezing in the winter?
It sounds like you store in a rented facility, is that correct? If so, $2,600 to put in 50amp sounds like allot, but to most of us that’s a reasonable fee. In ten years on the PC Forum you might be the second or third Prevost owner who was in rented storage and could install 50amp at your own expense. Most of the time the rented storage doesn’t have a big enough service to the building to support a 50amp RV outlet or the landlord just doesn’t want to do it.
With a coach of that vintage, I presume you have AGM house batteries. Everytime they drop below about 12.2 volts the batteries are damaged and their life is likely shortened. If you fully discharge them, they have been abused and life shortened. Ask me how I know.
Glad to hear you’ve opted for a dedicated 50amp/240 RV shore power for your coach!
This is the shore power outlet I put in at my former race shop where the coach was kept. I’ll be installing a similar one at our new location when the coach pad gets built out.

Good luck with your coach and enjoy it!

Just fueled with TSD in VA. $5.40 on the T/A billboard and I paid $4.60 after TSD took their cut. Pretty happy.
