I topped off my tank, or should I say I had a mobile fuel delivery service top off my tank, on 6/9/21, with 71.4 gallons at a cost of $214.91 plus a State of SC surcharge of $50. Price per gallon was 3.01. I thought that was reasonable.

Filling up anywhere in Illinois is insane. I would purchase enough to get across the border then stop, walk the dogs, have a nice lunch and buy cheaper fuel.

What has always been funny to me were posts during the previous $5.00 per gallon period some years back by owners of almost brand new Prevost conversions saying they would cut back on the use of the bus because of high fuel prices. What made this so damn funny is these owners were experiencing depreciation on their buses approaching $1,000 per day and they were worrying about fuel costs going up a few bucks.

Just fueled with TSD in VA. $5.40 on the T/A billboard and I paid $4.60 after TSD took their cut. Pretty happy.

I helped a buddy put 1050 gallons in a yacht today. I pumped the diesel. He paid the man. Felt right.

Pulled into to top off. 123 gallons for $655.06 but after the TSD discount “only” $584.50.
Well worth it! The added convenience is just a side benefit!

Fellow that does the Camp Prevost channel on YouTube showed his fill up on his last trip for Spring Break with his family. I believe it was ~$945 before the discount.
