That issue was not ignored. There is NO rubbing when the coach is standing still and there is something like 4-6 inches clearance between the air bag and that run spot when the coach is standing still. The air bag is collapsing for some reason during sharp sloped turns. Something has happened recently to make this suddenly worse to the point where it appears that rub spot is actually pinching the collapsed air bag between itself and the air bag base plate causing a puncture slit in the bag. I believe that others are correct that it’s the wrong bag but this type bag as worked very well for the last 5-6 years and we have been in the exact same tight/sloped turns many times over the course of the last 4 years with our current work.

What is a good display option if you don’t want to use your phone on an older coach? Any chance there’s something that can share a display with a backup camera, popping up on an alarm?

its done at Prevost only. I know Dallas does. Mira Loma does it. Quebec service center does it. I’m assuming the other service centers do it too. Who has the most experience. Don’t know that answer

Update:
Stepslide is now operational. Don’t always believe the regulator gage reading. Had a little fun with my wife. Got her to stand at the door listening for any leaks in air. Popped that slide & enjoyed the reaction…
Pulled the house batteries on the side of the coach to get to the valve. Unhooked all lines to valve. Started the aux compressor to check air flow. Hooked that line back to valve. Air discharging from dump screen. Shut down aux air. Started bus to see how the bus air does with the valve. Much higher volume & pressure. Shut down engine. Hooked all lines back up to Burkhert valve. Started engine again to build pressure & no discharge of air from valve this time. Shut down engine. Started aux air compressor & no discharge of air from valve. All is working good. Ran this procedure several times with no failures.
Hopefully final notes for now:
The aux air compressor does not produce enough volume to actuate the valve properly but will hold after valve has been actuated with main air. Been holding with an occasional aux compressor cycle on for over 6 hours.

You have to measure voltage at the chassis 12 volt post and at the 24 volt post.
Look at the diagram on the door and measure where Prevost picks up the two voltages from the chassis batteries. Low voltage on the 12 volt side will prevent the ECM from working.
Having said that the other question is how old are your batteries and do you have a problem with them holding voltage? Even if one equalizer is out on a 2 equalizer set up the remaining one should still keep the 12 volt side charged, but bad batteries will be an issue.

Ron, in my 07 H3, the thermostat reward in the bedroom only controls the rear A/C Heat pump so forget about it.
While dry camping and the 12V or 120 V or both buttons in the bathroom activated you can use the SMX by the bed side to control the bedroom toe kick or the webasto under the bed.
You might not have any power on the SMX in the galley and if this is the case you can’t get the two heaters to work. On shore or Gin the thermostat will have power and activate the heaters 12V and 120V.
So if you are dry camping and need the 12V under the galley cabinet, go up front and on the drivers panel below the toll window push the button that says A/C Select. This will turn on the power to the thermostat and allow you to operate the webasto toe kick.
I don’t think any of the 120V toe kicks will run on inverter.
Marathon set them up to operate the Bed/Bath A/C and the Salon A/C while running the main engine and using the alternators but if you wanted to switch the Bed/Bath A/C unit off and run the Galley A/C you would push this button A/C Select and it switches which A/C unit you can use.

Bottom line, “Wake up America america”. I`ve been blessed and fortunate enough to own a Prevost and can buy most any auto I want but I don`t. Why do the majority of Americans drink the kool-aid when it comes to new cars? Marketing & Stautus ?
First, when you sign the dotted line you`re burning money from serious depreciation. Second, It`s safer with all those “air bags”, auto braking, etc. Come on, let a F-350 diesel blow thruthat red light and t-bone you in that new Lexuslexus, MB or heaven forbid a smart car or jeep. You are dead or crippled.Third, Oh new computer technology. Right, wait till you go in for an oil change and they do a computer upgrade! If you don`t do the upgrade you`re new car warranty is now void, period. Finally, the availability of parts. What a joke!
Data has shown the best years for car reliablity was 1988 to 2001.
Off my soap box now !!

When I was in Branson, MO in June my brother rented a Jeep with these features. The one they found beyond annoying was the stop engine feature at a stop. Even the short time I was in the Jeep with them I found it as annoying as they did! I’ve been thinking of a new car but it won’t be a Jeep!
