As I am not an owner of prevost community, I cannot keep your dues money. Please send money to me directly.

    Seriously, you’re very welcome.

That is 6 Carat, he also owns a 250′ Yacht, another 65′ fishing boat, a 34′ foot MTI catamaran with twin outboard 450 mercury motors, a 52′ fully enclosed MTI catamaran with twin 1650 hp twin turbo charged engines that does 185+, and the list goes on, he’s in the oil pipe business. When he’s at poker runs, I’ve seen him donate a lot of money at the auctions on the poker runs, his group is a class act.

OK, to help us understand why we (me included) want to move up, besides 5 feet of length what exactly are you planning to get that you do not have in terms of performance, utility, reliability, etc?

I can recite all the excuses I made for making changes, but if I step back and attempt to apply logic, I come up short. I just know I valued the coach I had way less than the one I wanted making me guilty of driving down values.

Great minds continue to think very much alike!

I follow the same procedures as Jon does as far regarding using city/campground water, turning the spigot off when the fresh water tank is full, and using the filling of fresh water as an opportunity to dump.

The last thing we need is a pyramid or cone in the holding tank.

I still do not know specifically where the accumulator tank is on my coach, but I do have one, and it is working.

Actually I have two, but the second one I added and it is dedicated to the Headhunter toilet so I can make the toilet work with a small Shurflo back up water pump.

If you want to know if you have an accumulator tank let your pump cycle off, turn off the switch and turn on a faucet. If you have a tank water will run for quite a while. Mine will run for a couple of minutes. I may also have an RO accumulator tank, but I don’t know where that is either and I am not pulling a refrigerator just to know.

The pump should have its own check valve, but there is also a small white plastic one in the CW line going to the HW tank.

Wondering there is no market for a “lower” priced new prevost coach as the depreciation curve is so steep. I would think a person would be more inclined to buy a 2 year old heavy depreciated “premium” coach such as a Marathon that a new “basic” prevost converted coach for about the same amount.

I don’t think there is ever a way to compare a Prevost converted coach with a Stick and Staple coach. I am part owner of a RV repair shop and have seen the garbage they put out. Yes, even the Monaco’s. Try to solve an electric problem on one of them. Good luck. Absolute 0 support from the MFG, and a bundle of 100’s unmarked wires. This said, most of the electric failures are caused by screws in wires and steel holes without grommets.

I sold my 2016 Jayco Super C on a Freighliner M2 chassis and bought a 1998 Marathon. Could not be happier.

not that heavy of machine & loaded close to break-over point (I have owned several ) trailer prob close to half weight of load and carrying majority of load =low tongue weight. Now good supplemental braking would be required .

Soundown insulation is made for yacht engine enclosures. And is a good choice for generator bays.

November 15, 2019 at 8:21 am in reply to: 365 Tire Availability

Based on the last information we got from Michelin, because they have a national contract with a charter bus company they have to insure 365 availability so there should be no issues.

The 1-800-TIRE911 program is now set up so if anyone has an issue while on the road, if the need is a 365 tire the Michelin system is set up to sort through dealers to insure the response is from a dealer with 365 tires in stock.

What is unresolved is the tearing of the decoupling groove although we understand Michelin is working on that.

    same…either 80-140 or 85-140…can’t remember

BTW, 230 isn’t bad but I would change to synthetic. I’m using stemco wheel seals and have had better results than others.
