As to that password, try just hitting the ‘Enter’ button. I’ll bet it still works like mine does. I found that out after in inadvertent finger slip.

thanks everyone. bought a thetford staright connector to replace what i already have (so i can store the hose in the fender between drive and tag wheels) and an adapter to let me use my “spare” hose that have a valterra setup.

There are a lot of companies that sell rubber extrusions and a lot that will make them into a four sided frame to your dimensions. It would be worth doing an internet search to find shapes that closely match what you need. You may actually find the exact shape Prevost used.

I just read your answer to my wife, her answer was:

Notice she didn’t volunter to do any work!

In the past I owned 3 xl’s. If you notice the front is curved in, that is where a lot of the wind comes from. The xl2’s are same size across the front with no curve, lot less wind noise

Well, that did not turn out so good. I took the bus to the indoor heated storage facility in Cincinnati on Wednesday the 11th only to find the entrance door was too short. The facility was advertised as having 14′ tall doors and the owner assured me twice that 14′ was correct. As I was backing in I could see in my camera and mirrors that it was going to be a close fit. I stepped to the back and had my wife back up until it was obvious. The door was barely 12′.
The owner was standing right there and the look on his face told it all. He felt like an absolute dog. I turned to shake his hand and tell him good bye but it looked like he was going to have a heart attack. He apoligized profusely and insisted on paying me for my time and fuel. I refused because ultimately it is my responsibility to check the door height but he was determined.
What he said next was refreshing. He said something like this, sir I’m a businessman and as a businessman I just totally disappointed and let down my customer. I cannot stay in business by treating customers that way. This $100 is the very least I can do besides I would like to help the work you do anyway.
We discussed it some more but he was adamant. I was very disappointed not to get to park the bus inside and hated that we had went all the effort, but I really felt bad for him. He advertised what he thought was true and made and honest mistake yet he was willing to take the blame and make it right as far as possible. I won’t post the name of the business simply because I do not want to appear as if I am bashing him at all. If I can use any of his business services in the future you can guarantee I will. He really went the extra mile for the customer. God bless him.
I ended up parking the bus in Waynesville at the church I normally park at when I am home for Christmas. It was 5 degrees when I left the next morning. My Dad and brother kept a close eye on things while we were gone and all was fine with the bus when I arrived home this week.
I am more motivated than ever to find a place to build a bus barn or move SOUTH.

Been there a couple of times. Gravel roads, but not too dusty. Long pull throughs, especially the ones farthest away from the registration area and close to the exit.
It is right off the interstate, but the noise wasn’t too bad when we were there. Nice easy in and out to the interstate.

We are having the same problem with our 1990 XL converted by Marathon, we are still trying to figure out how to get the leaking stairwell slide cylinder out to repair or replace it. Meanwhile we have a regulator for the stairwell slide in the steer compartment, all we have to do is turn the regulator down to zero and the air leak is gone and the aux compressor stops cycling when we are in a campground. If you have a regulator this may work for you until you get it fixed. We are going to call Marathon tomorrow to see how to access the stairwell slide cylinder, hopefully they can tell us. If anybody else out there knows how to get this cylinder out of a Marathon conversion we would really like to hear from you!

Jon, thanks, I will go over it and identify the function of each of the switchs & positions. After I posted my first note I realized I was not as complete as I should have been in the description of the problem. Some times when I park the coach with it all the way up on air it will sit for days and not lose any air. I need to park it with the air all the way up with the switches in different positions and see if I can figure out what positions the switches are in when it bleeds off air. As soon as I get this figured out, along with your questions, I will let you know what I find. Thanks again for your help.

I use the new Garmin 760. I like it much better than any old Garmin or Tom Tom I have used. I used it on a couple of trips this summer and it did not take me on any small roads that I could not easily handle. Of course, it does not like the road I live on but I have to travel it to get home. Not saying it is perfect but it has worked good for me so far.

I have been upgrading from the 5 inch to the 7 inch screen and now have the the 3rd edition, being the 7720 with lifetime free map upgrades.
I have driven about 10K miles and, so far, so good.
It is worth the $300 to me to have a dedicated device designed for RV.
