If you have a air lock at top of door you can move the striker so it will suck it in more when you drive that sometimes helps or adjust the door it might need a new seal also hard to know

Got lucky! Googled the Bosch part number on the motor and found a new one on eBay for 90 bucks, no shipping, and (at the risk of provoking another thread) no sales tax. And it includes that half clutch.
When I removed the four bolts that hold the black plastic motor cover, one of them broke in the aluminum housing with not enough protruding out to put a vise grip on. So drill and tap today.

Thanks Jeff, that info helps.
Do they pressurize the bus and bubble check the seams or just try to lift the panel edges? Don’t know the inspection process. -
Sounds like you worked it all, Andy, good job.

Tony,
I have only had Direct. We had it at the house and went with it in the bus for convenience and simplicity. I’ve had good results and they have a 24/7 help number for RV’s. I’m sure you will get a lot of opinions. They both seem to have PC members who prefer one or the other. I got the King Dome last year and it has been great. -
I agree Tom and Jon stick with one of them

Excellent news. Congratulations.

where did the gun companies go after they left colorado? maybe those states are a little more realistic on their emissions and registration of diesel vehicles.

Good luck Brett. Enjoy the hunt.

Al, I also had the same question. Though there was no answer here, I did finally find in the Prevost maintenance manual that it is ok to swap steers side to side. And I’m going to do that when I change out the rotors in a couple weeks.
Edit: here is the language from the manual.
Radial tires should be rotated only when necessary. If the tires are wearing evenly, there is no need to rotate. If irregular wear becomes apparent or if the wear rate is perceptively different (from axle to axle), then tires should be rotated in such a manner to alleviate the problem. NOTE: There is no restriction on criss-cross rotation.
So, criss-cross rotation, to me, means it’s ok to reverse the direction that the tire turns when moving forward.
This is from section 13 (wheels, hubs, and tires) page 6 of the manual that came with the bus, i.e. 1994.

I suffer from the same affliction. I tend to go in denial when a problem does not turn out to be what I think it is. I usually move on eventually but not until the dead horse is beat sufficiently.
I did test the skin and frame with a multimeter to a ground rod. (0 volts during generator and shore operation respectively) Thanks for the heads up on that!
I know the changover and AC system is working like it is suppose to when I wire past the inverters. With the invers wired in , pass through power works fine when I am on shore but the inverters do not like the generator power for some reason. I tested the input at the inverters (on gen power) and its 121 volts with a good neutral and ground. But the inverters do not want to pass it through. Im wondering is a frequency issue with the generator. I cant understand why the inverters reject pass through on gen but not shore when the voltage is the same in either case. I sent the inverters in today and will see what they find before doing anything else. If they say the inverter is fine I will throw a frequency meter on the gen power. I will probably make the trip to ETLC if this doesnt start making sense to me after inverter tech findings. I will report back with details after this is fixed.

Found a blown fuse in the controller. New one in am and I hope all is well.

I was late calling them, but Naples Motorcoach Resort found us a site…so we’re on for ClawFest….Looking forward to it.

If it sees the transmission in gear, the slides would not work.
And no, Karl, the brake chambers have nothing to do with this issue.
