This is just an educated guess and an opinion. Our type generators are widely used on entertainer coaches and if they required such heavy duty service or repairs that often it is a safe bet to say they would not use that brand.
I am sure some intermediate service is required of the generator, but they are lasting between 30,000 and 40,000 hours with regular oilk and filter changes.

If you have multiple non-GFCI 20 amp plugs you can use a cheater box and plug the bus into 2 of them given you 15/20 amps on each leg which should be more than enough to power the minimum needs of a powered down coach.

BDuplan email me on Compressor. Carrier Built and New Electric Clutch and Double Belt Pulley already set by Carrier. Bought it for mine and all mine needed was a seal. Never installed. Cheap. Think I still have the pressure switches also somewhere out in Bus Barn.

What fan, a vent fan?
Lights not working randomly could indicate a failing card in the black box that is in the drawer of the battery bay or a faulty switch. 2006 Royale used Spyder Controls for lighting. The fan however is not, so very possible something else is going on. If you can be specific what isn’t working, and if you have the RC coach # I can try to guide you what to look for. Shoot me an email if you like.

Has anyone looked into or try to swap out the OEM Prevost gauges for the new LED gauges? They seem to come in variety of configurations with analog and digital presentation on the same gauge, some are programmable to give you colors if the ready is too low or too high. And I would think they would be completely readable in even the brightest sunlight.
Anyone now if the sending units will support LED gauges or if its much more than plug and play?

My Liberty has the same setup pictured.
Although you don’t want to cut the door, I would think it the simplest setup. 6 inch square hole in floor of gen compt with a fan to exhaust air out bottom of bus and pull cooler air in through door. I would just replace the door skin with a new perforated one from intl. bus parts.

Our genny compartment has a 120v electric fan mounted in a side wall and evacuates the air out the bay floor. Dayton pt# 1TDR3. About $100 at Grainger.

Chuck, you are hilarious! that is the exact reason I am waiting to buy one. i have a friend with one i forgot the brand, he came over to show me how it worked and i had no idea what he was hearing. He would say do you hear it? i would say no, i don’t hear anything. I tricked him by saying there was an air chamber behind the frame listen here, and he said Yup I hear it!.

Buddy ( rite on as usual) note plugs not valves… you pull them you got whole tank draining.

Don nice assortment, on bus 2 plates quarter inch thick,shop 2 20 ton building jacks they are adjustable and 1 quarter inch plywood to prevent moving, steel on steel don’t like ,base plates are 1.5 by 12 inch under jacks or what ever.

Most if not all A/C units circulate the air that is within the coach. They do not create a vacuum or pressurize the coach. They are not the problem. unless they have a provision for pulling in fresh air. If they do pull in fresh air, and they are on the roof, near the plumbing vent they could be the source. I would bet against that possibility.
When the odor of the holding tank is in the coach it is almost always a dry water trap. Every sink, the shower, the washing machine, and any other fixtures that drain into the holding tank have to have a trap filled with water to block odors.
However, not all fixtures are vented to the plumbing vent system for a variety of reasons and the converters use an air admittance valve as a substitute to the connection to the vent system and if the admittance valve has failed open it can provide a possible source of odors.
To determine the source just involves some detective work, with insuring all traps are filled with water as the first step.

I replaced the 3 single belts with the same single combined belt you have any there have been no issues and no vibration. I’ve not seen any unusual movement when the air bag is deflated.
