Suggestion, download the Google tool bar, it has a very useful spell check that always sits at the top of your browser and will check your spelling on any form your filling out.

Thanks for all the quick responses and advice, I figured something is not right and should be handled asap!
The coach is currently in Sanford FL and there is a DD service center right there, so I think I will take it to them for an exploratory.
******UPDATE******
Just found out the Sanford Detroit Diesel service center is no more!
Any recommendations for an honest/ knowledgeable Detroit Diesel repair shop anywhere between Orlando and Fort Myers Fl is welcome. Thank you.

Georges,
I tow a stacker with our 8V-92 power. Last year I thought I was seeing the coolant temp start to creep up. Listening to advice from the community I started to line up a new radiator core and shop to do the work.
Just before heading down to get ‘er done, the shop owner suggested I check to see if the core needed cleaning. Working from inside the engine compartment with a low pressure hose and Simple Green I was able to dislodge a LOT of debris that had taken up residence in the fins. Problem solved!
You might give it a try…remember, low pressure.
Oh yeah, wear goggles. -
Yeah, I’m thinking they can use the tanks and solder in a new radiator section.

I have spoken with Millenicom, and they say it is unlimited, though the price they told me was closer to $70.
I need unlimited because when I have a disabled veteran on board, the internet is his or her life.
So I also want to know how unlimited and how good it is, so I can finalize my decision.

thanks rob. as easy as fiberglassing over the origanal windows would be thats not what i am after. this is my first coach and i would like to try and do it with metal. i also thought of just adding a heavier tint on those windows which would still give my coach that full window look. thanks for the pealing panel suggestion. my problem is i dont want to have by bus down for a long period of time since we use it every weekend.
once again thanks. petar

I have come across some polish (actually it is a couple of them) that I feel are a good fit and are working well for me. Jon said I should post it for some of you to look at. Unfortunately, editing here is not working for me, but if you want to see the results, it can be found on my project page, here is the link: http://boxcarokie.com/draft-onl/
Just click on Wheel Polish Link top of the page.

From what I gather an average movie is close to 2 gigs. The 5 GB limit with most of them will not go far in streaming videos.
According to Millenicom’s website they offer “unlimited” for $60/month! Wondering if anyone here uses it.

Oh………you’ve been gone???????
Hope you are having fun. And feel a little guilty while the rest of us are slaving away.

Come on Al! you know all reputable shops have Gorrilla glue and duct tape. The uptown places have duct tape in color and free crazy glue!

Harry,
I did my air bags over the winter and that was an ideal time for me to change out the norgrens and shocks since I had all the tires off. My bags were original and although they were cracked on the outside, inside they still looked new. I cut one open just to see if the cracking of the rubber went all the way through. Even though the bags and norgrens were still doing the job, I just have piece of mind knowing I have all new parts. The shocks were completely gone and had no rebound at all.
So I guess it all boils down to personal choices…

My coach has always held air pretty well since we got it, but this winter I noticed it seemed to bleed down quickly on the brake side. I spent some time looking and had no luck until this past week.
I found that my Air Force One brake system’s pressure protection valve was leaking around the seam where the two halfs are joined. I called SMI on Friday and they are sending me a new improved valve as a warranty replacement.
Once I get it, I think my brake air will stay up much better. My aux still is pretty good, but there is some work to do there as it does leak down over time. Hector’s idea of the nc valve for the seat and step slide interests me as I know that the step cylinder leaks a bit and I suspect the seat does as well, but I have not been able to find that one.
Air leaks are a pain!

Jon,
How about you turn my wrenches and I’ll push your buttons?

Georges,
Welcome aboard. I don’t know where you are located, or where you want to do the work, but I would not hesitate to contact the converters on this site to see if this is something they will quote. Since all the converters do this kind of work I suspect every one has the ability to do exactly what you want.
What you describe gets into virtually every area of skills, including possibly flooring, hard surface countertop fabrication, upholstery, and likely some electrical work so choose carefully if you opt to not use a converter. The project is bigger than it sounds.
Good luck.
