  • mobile internet recommendations?

Posted by Georges on May 23, 2012 at 8:47 am

Anybody use Millenicom or any other service? Am trying to find a service that provides coverage pretty much all over the US. Aside from internet we currently watch Hulu and Netflix movies and TV shows online, but that is at home, need to duplicate this on the road. Thanks for your good advice.

I use a USB stick from Verizon with a Cradlepoint router. Works good, but I haven’t tried streaming video because of the cost. I have no idea how much data that takes, but they don’t recommend it at Verizon.

From what I gather an average movie is close to 2 gigs. The 5 GB limit with most of them will not go far in streaming videos.

According to Millenicom’s website they offer “unlimited” for $60/month! Wondering if anyone here uses it.

I have spoken with Millenicom, and they say it is unlimited, though the price they told me was closer to $70.

I need unlimited because when I have a disabled veteran on board, the internet is his or her life.

So I also want to know how unlimited and how good it is, so I can finalize my decision.
