It’s real simple to do. Drill our the rivets on the “H” molding at the top of the windows and bend up. This leaves the rivets under the “H” molding exposed along with the rivets along the window frame. Either drill out or grind off ( I drilled them out but you could use a 4 1/2″ grinder) the rivets. Once all the rivets are smooth to the frame, use a pointed punch to punch out the rivets. Once that is done, start at the bottom and peel the window and frame out. I say peel, because Prevost uses a very sticky goo to hold the window frames in place and make them waterproof. Be careful peeling them out because the glass in the windows will fracture if you put to much stress on them.

I also left you a long post on the window covering technique I used on the other post. BTW, some leave the windows and frames in place and just cover them over with aluminum or fiberglass sheets. That may be effective but it leaves lots os excess weight in the coach that you have to haul around and pay diesel to transport.

thanks rob. as easy as fiberglassing over the origanal windows would be thats not what i am after. this is my first coach and i would like to try and do it with metal. i also thought of just adding a heavier tint on those windows which would still give my coach that full window look. thanks for the pealing panel suggestion. my problem is i dont want to have by bus down for a long period of time since we use it every weekend.

    once again thanks. petar
