I have used this for more than 20 years and it has done well, both as a means of detecting leaks in the air system, but to find door gasket leaks using the noise generator I also have.

Do not get your hopes up and think this is the answer to all leak detection issues. It is only one of the ways and no one single way works all the time.

So is support between the ground and frame jacking points all that is required prior to going beneath when the chassis is fully raised with air?

I ask this as someone elsewhere led me to believe there were frame to frame points (not in contact with the ground) that ALSO required blocking. It did not make sense, but wanted to double check. Thank you again

Drag, it might be easier to let us know certain parameters of yours. You had a MH in the past. How are you going to use it, your budget for purchase and why a Vantare? I know a pretty good amount about Vantare. You may call or txt me 941 779 5018. George

The great thing about Oyster Fest is that the feast part of the fest is well liked. There are options other than oysters and I personally like those folks that chose the other items on the buffet, leaving more oysters for me !!!

The 2019 Oyster Fest was our first and we are putting the 2020 gathering on our calendar for sure.

We have 2014 Rubicon. The transfer case is occasionally hard to get into neutral . When that happens, I start the engine, shift to drive then back to neutral and then the transfer case is easier to shift. It acts like maybe the gears need to move just a little to allow the transfer case to get into neutral. Not sure if that is what is really happening, but it works for me.

I just had this happen two weeks ago. I used the Prevost app to locate a repair facility in Salt Lake City (Volvo big truck shop). I called the shop and with my VIN they ordered the hydraulic steering ram on a Thursday afternoon. It arrived on Friday. I topped off the hydraulic fluid (ATF) and drove 4 hours from Moab to SLC without any issue, arriving Sunday night.

First thing Monday morning I was in line for repairs. They had me fixed up and on my way after lunch. This apparently is a common repair.

Best solution yet. Looks good, and with the use of the 5×7 standard lights, a later technological upgrade becomes easy. I’d love to have a kit.

Did you make any provision for DRL’s?

Great you found it. The other wire to keep an eye on is the electric door lock. If just the entry door lock stops operating, it is the same issue. Of course, as you “fix” the broken wire, it gets shorter and has to bend even more causing it to fatigue again. At some point, you’ll need to splice in an extra length of wire.

Jon, I was about to tell you that don’t plant a garden next year because you will have enough money to buy you veggies at Wally World.

I have survived several– two on a bus. 1 on mci and one on prevost. Both just drove thru–don’t get excited until later. Both tires were virgin rubber steer tires. 1 was 3 yrs old. keep your head and plan a safe stop! Then thank god you and everyone else survived. That is in the moment! Keep a eye on your equipment.. Plus everything else everyone suggested. Be Aware if you feel a vibration in steering wheel or differant noise ck it out then not miles down road. My last close call was in July..I dropped front right off side of country road–had a low boy coming other way .Drove a piece while slowing down until I got to a taper in pavement that was safe at the speed to help me back on. Sorry for the rambling—

Thanks everyone. We are a bit concerned since the sway bar end is quite close to the air bag bottom. Not seeing how actively things move down, we were wanting to make sure if we drive a considerable distance with a single new dogbone or none at all, that nothing under there touches each other.

We do have new bolt washer and dogbone bushing being shipped. Not sure under the bus how we would press out the broken stud with the sway on the bus let alone dismantling it off the bus and fishing it out from underneath to take it to shop.

    Harry,

I’ve been doing it for years. My service company does not have a minimum.

That would be a question you want to ask suppliers in your area.

There should be plenty of companies that deliver fuel to construction job sites

and trucking companies. I believe it is a good way to get fresh fuel.

I’ll bet if you run to Jeff’s, you could find someone to go to ETLC and fill you

up if you don’t want to use your TSD card.
