Since you asked so nicely … here are photos.
Now you see it:
and now you don’t:
The hidden receiver is located behind the license plate:
This hitch and various accessories are being manufactured by a company in California.

No issues with battery drain so far. At every overnight stop I start the truck and put the transfer case back in gear and remove the key. Next morning I put the key back in and put transfer case in neutral. My owners manual has a section that covers towing by RV and does not give any warnings about “limited time or distance”. It is possible that the 2015 would be different then the 2013, so check carefully.

We don’t have to worry about Eastern Tennessee Luxury Coach going to the dogs. Jeff will put his foot down first!
What should be interesting though … is to see what the cat drugg in!

I don’t know what my family would do without bunks and I am always surprised at how few of the coaches out there have bunks.
My guess is that add-on will increase the interest in your coach down the road when you decide to sell or trade.
Great looking job on that.

So far this RV park seems to have gotten good reports as an alternative to other NO locations.

Have personal friend who is the tech specialist for Crete trucking in Lenoir,City ,Tn and has worked on Detriots for years. Asking him the same question abt oil change intervals & oil type his reply is that Crete did their own research based on years of driving and maintenance records concluded that oil change/ filter intervals will increase from 40k to 50k miles with oil analysis using conventional oil. His recommendation to me with D60 was 15k miles conventional oil for peace of mind !
The point being in our lifetimes how many of us know of someone losing an Engine due to oil breakdown? Modern oils are designed to much higher standards also.
Yeap them airplanes have to be flown so many hours/ month of else! Maybe that’s just a FAA thing? Had two Cessna’s & a Piper, never read any accident report abt a complete engine failure, only human error due to someone usually just performing maintence or pilot error . Only my two cents worth guys.

surprised to see that the FMCA and Good Sam are not pushing or supporting approrpriate licensing requirements.
Please consider the fact that both organizations push the good live of RV’ing. In the case of Good Sam aka Camping World, they will prefer to sell you a big rig, too.
So … it is not in their best interests to push for legislated driving qualifications.
If there are state legislated requirements, it is a hodge-podge of different rules. This is something that would have to be dealt with on the Federal level because the states will only support what is in the state’s best interest which surely differentiates from region to region.
In my home state of New Hampshire, the Live or Die state, like in most other states, there are no special requirements. I am allowed to drive my bus with a regular drivers license. I called them several times in the past. I visited the office in person several times in the past to press the issue. NH does not have any special requirements at all. Even if I wanted to pass a special license class, it does not exist.
The other side of the coin is, however, that I do have to pay 2 different registration and tag fees. There is the regular registration fee for the tag, which I pay to my local town hall. Then there is the additional fee I have to pay direct to the State because my bus weighs over 26,000 lbs.
I have to drive an hour to get to the State’s DMV office to pay my dues.
Anyway, eventually, the insurance companies will make the call. It will take a long time because, statistically, RV’s are in the minority.
If there were a way to obtain a non commercial CDL in my state, I would go for it. I would support mandatory licensing.

Ok, got it, especially the Lennon sisters tapes.
Was just at Prevost Jax, they seemed to have no thoughts towards running Synthetic either.
thanks.

Butch,
havent looked at the webpage and the options the have available, but was thinking of a flagpole in general and how to set one ip for the coach. didnt want to put it on the coach as there is nothing to secure it at the top of the coach from keeping it hitting. came across a good base call “the claw”(www.theclaw.com). was trying to figure out how to use that as a base for a pole.

I have a flip phone but assume everyone else carries a phone that will do everything, including act as a GPS. Maybe I am missing the point, but can’t you set the location of the bus in your GPS before you leave, and then when you want to go back to it, you just pull out the phone and let it guide you back?
Seems a whole lot simpler than rigging up sky high strobe lights.

I’am confused.with the whip part….. Is this the same locator with battery pack Truk uses to find his way back to the bus ?

mid panel in kitchen area next to gen start switch, there usually is instructions on the cabinet door or inside cabinet. You should have a second switch for arming auto start. That era coach will monitor battery voltage only for auto start..

Tom,
Jon covered it we’ll and any AGM with the same physical dimensions and charging protocol will work with your Marathon, of course I wouldn’t use anything except Lifeline.
I just quoted batteries to a fellow last week with Lifelines that are original and 12 years old. Now that’s service!
