Davy, the only problem with removing the Aqua hot and putting in water heaters is that you loose the heat function from that unit. You will have to rely on electric heat, and may have to add heaters to your water bay if you don’t already have one. Aqua hot replacement is rather expensive as I’m sure you are aware.

We don’t grade papers based on spelling. If we did I would be in trouble because I am too lazy to check spelling and most of the time my fingers don’t work when my brain tells them what to do.
At 14 years I suspect when you get the shocks off you will meet with almost no resistance when you try to compress them. I just repalced mine at 8 years and while none had any evidence of oil leakage I could push them closed or pull them open easily. I was riding around without the benefit of shocks.

I think part of the problem is that buyers and sellers don’t disclose sale prices. If there was more disclosure of the actual sale prices (and condition, time to replacement of the limited life things, etc.), the resources would be more accurate and hence more respected.

That is great information and a super price. I “hope” I will not need to replace either one (Passenger side is original) for a very long time. But that sounds like a great option.

I tow a 2013 F250 4×4 diesel King Ranch. I had the driveshaft disconnect installed at Draiveshaft Services in Atlanta. It has been flawless in every way. I’d do it again in a second.

Typical slope in a tangent section of roadway is 0208″/foot. That would be .25 inch over a 12 foot lane. The slope is for draining water off the road surface. Typical maximum cross slope in a horizontal curve is 08″. That would be almost 1″ over a 12 foot lane.
Just for the confusion factor, on some old four lane highways the roadway was crowned at the center of the two lanes. The slow lane (#2), where Jon says he hangs out would be sloped down to the outside by 0.25″, while the inside lane (#1) where Tom rides would be sloped to the inside by 0.25″. So find an old four lane highway and fix your irregular wear by swaping lanes frequently!
As for the weigh transfer across the tread of a tire resulting from the slope, I’ll leave that calculation to others.

I am a cabinet maker by trade. I’ve sold the business to my brothers so I have a great connection. They have both a custom cabinet shop and a solid surface top shop.
Yes I made a template of the top, picked out the Corian I wanted to use, sent them the template and had them build the top. I did the install myself.
Find a solid surface shop and have them template the new top for you. If they do the template then they are responsible for the new top fitting correctly. In my particular situation I was able to fasten the new top on the right end to the box built around the fridge. On the left end I made a Corian support that attached to the underside of the new top and then attached the bottom of that support to the chase that runs along the floor on the passenger side of the bus. You may not have a chase like that in your bus, but if not you should be able to come up with something even if you have to run a support to the floor. In the center, the old table had a corbal underneath with some alluminum mounting hardware attached to it. I simply remade a new corbal (less deep than the original because the new top dosen’t come out as far) modified the alluminum hardware to fit the new corbal and then reinstalled the new one back into the same holes as the old one.
I talked to Liberty about how the old corbal was mounted to the wall. They had actually welded metal in the wall and tapped it so that the screws screwed right into it. Therefore I couldn’t just run wood screws into the wall and have them hold anything. I had to go right back into the exact same holes as before using the same screws. It’s not hard, just have to make sure you make the new parts just right.
One suggestion, make your new top 20″ deep at the shallowest point. I went 17″ on mine and wish it were a few inches deeper. I may still have them make me another top and replace this one just to get the extra depth. Even at 20″ it would still stick out from the wall a foot and a half less than the table did.

Back in 89, the “fruit police” were looking for a little more. Not only was I asked about fruit/vegetables, but also any gerbils or other animals. Coming from the North East, I was wondering what kind of state was I moving to that had to inspect fruit, vegetables and small animals?
Of course I’ve only really seen these checkpoints on the southern part of the state. Coming in from Reno, I never went through those checkpoints? Luckily leaving, they never stopped me. Was expecting to see a Franchise Tax Board checkpoint and them to check my tax records and make sure I was paid up before I exited the state 😉
