Our fleet of MCIs in Yellowstone had solid drivers windows with a sliding manual toll window. Yep, that would be col for ur XL. Our windows are foggy too, and in order to back in the barn we lay a string of rope lighting on the floor to aid aiming the bus backing looking thru the fogged glass. We don’t drive much at night anymore, for several reasons, one being foggy windows. Suncoast in Florida is too far to drive for a weekend.

We’ve pulled a suburban and an h2 if you get the hitch right you won’t notice the difference.
Good luck!

Michael,
Joel gave you the correct answer.
The system can be charged by anyone with refrigeration knowledge. It sounds like your system still has refrigerant so other than someone adding 134 (gas via the suction side of the compressor) you will be good to go.
Look behind the clutch on your compressor. If it is wet with oil that is the likely and most common leak point. If so that entails about $100 in parts and a couple of hours. Look for either Prevost or Carrier Transicold dealers because trailer refrigerator systems use the same compressors and similar parts to service the OTR.

Folks, I know this post has been here a little while, but I was reading it and I have a manual awning and have been getting on a ladder to insert and remove the arms in the slots at the top of my awning. After reading the post, I went back and studied my assisting rod and really felt like an idiot. LOL All this time, I wondered and was disappointed in how the awning was deployed and rolled up and how much of a pain it was. That cool little thingamajig on the end of the rod is the coolest new finding and it has worked flawlessly and I thank y’all for mentioning it because it has saved me already.
