Do you have any other charger on your chassis batteries? I would think that if your 24v batteries were actually charged to 33v, you would be seeing or smelling something rather alarming. Could your high voltage readings be from another source (like a trickle charger) sending current with the engine off?

i don’t know what all it affects on a newer coach’s computers, but I would want to disconnect the batteries and then check their voltage with no other variables.

With shore power disconnected and chassis battery switches off, battery still reads 16.95 volts

Engine is not running and I checked the inverter voltage in the house all seems normal there, the chassis battery is reading 17 volts, I have turned off the mater pier to the coach and emergency battery disconnect

Do not run the engine. STOP!

It sounds like you have a voltage regulator that has an issue and as a result you are getting unregulated voltage which will do serious damage to the point it can start a coach fire.

To be more specific a lot of details are required. But for now make sure the engine is not running, the inverters do not have shore or generator power, then report back with details on whether the chassis or house is getting those voltages.

The manufacturer of the coolant should have some instructions or documentation for checking. What is for certain is that adding SCAs via the coolant cartridge or additive converts the coolant to a 2 year coolant.

We need to drink disinfectant and stand under UV light to ride of the politics. All I know is that in times like this we need to take care of our family’s as best we can if it’s not from covid it’s from an angry mob. Crazy times we live in. I am a disabled officer and I can tell you it’s a very difficult time for law enforcement now a days. But again if an angry mob stands in your way of travel and starts damaging your bus you won’t have time to call the police best you can do is defend yourself and family by any means possible you better believe if they pull you out of your bus like they have done to many truckers it will be a life or death situation.

I’ve looked extensively for a mini split unit to replace my forward Cruisairs, but none of the evaporator units will fit my bus without major surgery and loss of cabinet space. I agree it would be nice to have the option. Bob Glines has some in his home conversion though. I think he’s happy with their performance.

I hate to admit it … but it took me a while to figure out the user name/password won’t auto fill in the Safari/Chrome competition. I’d seen it posted a few times and didn’t quite grasp what was being said. It actually took me a while to fully understand what Safari was.

I bought an iPhone when my aged flip phone broke into two halves. I pretty much like it, put all 290 of my music CDs onto it and then lost all the music files , and downloaded a few apps.

I was naive enough to think I was stuck with the browser that came with the iPhone. Finally after seeing Tom tell us for the umpteenth time to use CHROME … I went to the AppStore and downloaded Google Chrome to the iPhone.

Tom was 100% right!!!!!!! Not only do my login credentials “stick” for the Prevost Community forum … they stick for all the other logins that weren’t sticking in Safari!

We just had a wonderful four days at the James Island Campground in Charleston. Met Larry and Alice Frawley while there.

Jeff. Looks to me like my fan pulley is slinging grease. Would advise replacing just the pulley or the entire fan gear box? I looked on the internet this morning for a pulley and did not find anything. What would be the cost of the replacement fan gear box? You can call me direct if you want, or I can give you a call.

By the way, I was the one that called you this past Saturday morning about the generator radiator cap pressure requirement.
