Please give us the scoop on the new tank. Brand, model, where you got it, etc.
Thanks!

We hope everyone won’t mind a couple of “newbies” to the group. We registered with the park today. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

The major problem I see is what to do with all that contaminated water. Four flushes is well over a 100 gals. I don’t have that many milk jugs.

We may try and set up a mini rally here next summer , and Trina will cook three meals a day 5 star all the way if anyone would be interested??

Wow Peter that is a spread. Looks like everyone is having a big time. Makes me want to be there.

If you guys want to practice steep slopes and hard transistions come on to Knoxville. For a very modest fee I will let you pactice on my driveway.
What I noticed missing from the photos was someone laying on their belly looking at the underside of the coach to make sure it had clearance and that the stuff that usually hangs down like baffles, generator muffler, fittings, etc. were going to clear the ground. Owners of the X3 chassis are going to have to be extra carefull because that little increase in the wheelbase will have a big effect on whether something drags or clears.

You can get the hose and sewer adapter for 54.99. Good grief man, you have a Liberty, that is chicken feed..

But where do you start? I can’t begin to afford to tell Prevost to find a leak. I don’t have jacks or ramps so getting under the coach on my own is challenging. I did just roll up on a curb so I could take a look under but not for the air issue. Campgrounds are not big fans of an RV on jacks (or any other work) so we just plug away. We go into Prevost service once a year (about 10,000 miles) and hope that’s it. We just got our Cruisairs working to the tune of $5500 (to fix one and rebuild another unusable one) plus something close to $4000 for the Prevost service call. Whatever else I do I have to do and I can’t figure out how to do that when I move every 3-5 days and from campground to campground working all of those free hours.

Peter,
In a perfect world our coaches would go millions of miles with no needed maintenance and repairs. But that ain’t going to happen. Unfortunately the complexity of our coaches due to the number of devices, systems, moving parts, combined with the fact we are banging and shaking them while going down the road exposing them to hot and cold, wet and dry makes me wonder how they are so relatively trouble free.
If you want to put your coach in perspective in terms of how durable and reliable it really is buy a plane. The care and feeding of the average high performance plane makes the cost and effort to take care of our coaches seem like chump change.

Don’t waste your time with Garmins 760, I ordered in early August and was back ordered, haven’t heard a thing. Rand McNally is probably the better way to go. I have a trucker Nuvi from Garmin and it will for sure take you to the boonies if you let it.

Another place for mud flaps is NAPA.
Usually they carry lots of sizes and thickness. Some are branded NAPA in the center but I’ve found what I needed without getting into the logo.
With a tin snip you can cut a straight line rather then using a knife blade has worked for me.

Tom, the front and rear or primary and secondary air gauges will tell you if the main compressor is cycling. So, you’re saying you keep your aux compressor on when driving? My aux systems stay pressurized by the main engine mounted compressor when driving. Is there value in keeping the aux compressor running? If so, is it due to some big air demand system?

Dan. I know nothing about back up cameras or Vogue conversions, but if it works OK except when the bus is in reverse I think you can conclude the monitor and camera are both OK.
What is unique about reverse is if Vogue did like other converters and powered the camera and monitor when the coach is in reverse the problem lies with the switching of power when in reverse. Do you back up lights work? Trying to figure where the converter picked up the signal to send power to the camera and maybe there is a relay that closes the circuit for power when reverse is selected and the switching source for the relay might be the back up light circuit.
Good question for Parliament, maybe Ben or Rick.

Liam, make sure you try the eating establishment at the end of the dock, you have to make reservations because of limited seating both worth every penny you will spend! I was there last year
