In Indiana anything over 2 1/2ft( 30) inches require forced air ventilation. ck your local code. For years I drove over a road ditch.. Then used ramps. then shallow pit with rock bottom:hard on knees. a piece of old carpet cures that–have steel beam cross brace ends and 1/2 way. mine is all 5 inch H beam steel–rock bottom to— al-s…t oops spills. Your design sounds great!! best used is not go under there. Stay safe out there!!!!!

Les, pick up a roll of the red Scotch double sided tape and stick it back on. That stuff is what car manufactures use, just make sure it is where you want it when you place the trim.

Jon, I saw the same type of law enforcement action in that part of GA. on the way home from Lakeland. I thought that I was already back in Ohio. Just the patrol cars were’t silver.

    Jon,

a pre-drive DOT brake test was performed before the S.C. road test. But it was not part of the test. The young instructor read off his forms the DOT brake steps steps. They wanted to show me how to do it rather than test my ability to do it.

never mind that I had to drive the bus 60 miles to get to a location that performed the test (I had previously passed the written test and had my learner permit which allowed me to drive the bus – no other CDL or RV licensed driver needed to be present).

I am not sure that this timeframe will work for me. I definitely see how it could be invaluable. How often do you have them?

Chris, who made the slides? If they are Prevost slides you can access 100% of all the information you need from the Prevost car web site. If they are other than Prevost, Amadas may have the schematics you need.

I got to meet Loc and visit with him last week at Prevost Houston. I enjoyed his company on a hectic day. I did not get to accept his offer of a great Mexican meal that evening, but I sure appreciate his Texas hospitality.

Thank you, Loc for your kindness! The new bus is beautiful!

I think people are missing one important aspect of why people wnt to do their own conversion.

Kind of like back in 2002 after watching some of the chopper builder shows, I decided I’d build.my own from ground up. Bought a frame and then stared from their. Putting the components I wanted, how I wanted and designed my own wire harness to bring everything together. I did it cause I figured if some of those on the TV shows could do it, I know I could. Hell, I never had a harley, only sport bikes, motocross and GP race bikes.

Took me 9 months of builidng it in my spare time, but the thing was solid, fun and everything work perfect. The pride of doing it all my self is what I did it for.

Oh hell Mark, haven’t you heard, that 4×4 on the side of farmers pickups doesn’t stand for 4 wheel drive. It means we work 4 weeks in the spring and 4 weeks in the fall.

BTW, when are we going to see the two of you again? I miss giving Gail a hard time.

Strategy: spend the first $200 on dark, really dark glasses to get past the looking fee and have the glasses for future utility, then if the touching fee is included in the sitting fee, take one of those or trade for Porsche sitting time.
