Debi here typing again for Bob 🙂
He is very interested in attending this seminar. He does not need coach space and will spend the night in a hotel. Please let us know if you need anything further.
Happy travels to all,
Bob and Debi

my glass should probably be replaced its pretty cloudy. Actually I usually step up and look down in as well. My reservoir has a plate just below the opening

Mark: Yes, that is our new to us baby. So far we have been pleased with the coach and the service. Great PDI followed up by a few tune ups that would have only been discovered by living in the bus. My brother just bought a plastic coach and the service, PDI, delivery and integrity of the dealer were dismal. Your coach and build process look great.

It looks very interesting and we will put the Pres sites or Supersites on our agenda next time through if you can tell me it has sewage connections… it says it has a dump station? The rental number is relatively high but with the amenties considered and I belive we will pull our boat and use it within the somewhat confined waters there….as long as there isn’t a strong wind… Ski Nautiques don’t handle rough waves well… looks like a great park!
It doesn’t appear to be all that far from the downtown area for appointments… and besides, we seldom go to the French Quarter anyway…. our preferred eating places are what I consider to be West of downtown, for example, on Carrollton…
The park is needed and I wish you every success….

Happy New Year to you as well Jeff. Thanks for input about your FJ, you also brought up a point that I’ve questioned othes about, that being the dependabilty of the Jeep products vs the Toyota. As most people know the Toyota’s are usually very dependable and give few problems. The FJ is the direction that we are heading and I might get back with you in the future and get more information.
And we are just North of you up in Arlington. Our oldest son and his family are close to you, they live in New Waverly.

Apples and oranges.
DOT inspections have not been done on RVs beyond the requirements of states that require vehicle inspections like NY that I am aware of. If they were everyone would be screaming about that.
But there have been RV owners who have been stopped for whatever reason and the MT licensing has popped up as an issue. RV forums have covered this to a great extent. Bottom line, owners should do whatever they choose to do regarding how they deal with licensing and sales tax. We are all adults and free to make whatever decisions we choose.

Not lucky, I am not a CA resident, so am not worried one bit.
Anyways, when did DOT start inspecting recreational vehicles? Show me some proof of that one. If RV is now subject to DOT insp, why not hours of service? Scales?C’mon guys.

What was the verdict, Tom?

yes, my Liberty has them on all four corners and they are all interconnected and fill automatically.

I am not an expert, but a past experience leads me to suggest that you check the chassis breakers (red pushbuttons in the right rear outside electrical cabinet and second/third bay left (on an H3, anyway). Push each and all in to assure yourself that they are closed and haven’t tripped. This can take a healthy push in some cases.
For what it’s worth, possibly less than two cents. Good luck.

John Walker, owner of Emerald/Outlaw explained to me in Louisville that the reason he can do a new coach at that price point is that they are semi-custom. You have limited choices as far as materials and lay-out. But what you do have is beautiful and well built. He started out building high end horse trailers that got fancier and fancier living quarters. It was not too much of a stretch to move to bus conversions which he did under the Outlaw name plate. He is a hands on guy and very approachable. Geo.

As long as you let him off the hook on the dinner…..he should have enough left to buy a bus.

PS – The yellow and black limit adjusters on mine are opposite of the online instructions. Black is upper limit, yellow is lower limit. If you have to work on your’s, you’ll thank me for that little tidbit.
