Coach Owner Trainng
As long as Tom and I are reporting our status I will reveal prematurely an upcoming program.
Working in concert with Jeff Rowe at his location we will be making available a weekend seminar program for coach owners. The current plan is to present the basics that owners should know. We do not intend to teach owners to be mechanics, but we do want to make owners aware of things every owner should know regarding ownership of a Prevost conversion.
This is very preliminary, but it appears based on our current thinking that this initial session will be held at East Tennessee Luxury Coach sometime late spring or early to mid summer. It will involve both classroom sessions and limited hands on sessions in the shop with a coach on a lift. Owners will apply some of the knowledge to actual practice on their own coach.
The plans now call for the program to be an intense two days of a weekend, with a Friday arrival and sessions to take place Saturday and Sunday. The dates will be announced. It will be dry camping only.
When we have the final agenda it will be posted along with a formal announcement of the program with all particulars. The entire program will be documented and attendees will retain workbooks, discs or some type of file for future reference.
There will be a charge for the program to help pay for the devlopment cost, meals, and hand out materials.
Stay tuned. If you would like to attend and have a particular area of interest feel free to post it on this thread because we are still finalizing the agenda. If this program is well received and the demand for it continues after this initial program we may repeat it at Jeff;s or present it at other venues. It is not specific to any conversion, nor is it intended to teach about specific conversions.

COUNT ME IN !!! This is too good to miss. How can I help? What can I do ? When can I sign up? Two thoughts, first as much notice as possible would help for work scheduling ( I can’t miss this) and is this Jon and Tom’s new hobby to fill all that extra time left over from planning rallies?

I, too, would be very interested in attending a class. First, I know I will never do any work on our coach. I want to undertand all the workings of the air system, air brakes, etc. I want to know where all the chassis greasing points are, etc.
If there were something that were to go wrong, I just want the ability to identify what might be going on.
Today, we just returned from a little trip over to Newport Beach at the Newport Dunes RV Park…. nice spot on the back bay.
I returned the coach to the storage garage in the desert and while I was connecting to our 30 amp plug-in, I walked around the back of the coach and the radiator fan went into HIGH mode. I’ve never heard that before while idling (jack rabbit switch on).
WOW, that thing can suck some air! LOL!

I have a Marathon. However, I am bringing the beer, and therefore I should be allowed to attend.
I suggest segregated camping to reduce the possibility of physical confrontations after class. Trailer trash, hillbillies, convicted felons, pop-up campers, illegal immigrants, and Liberty owners on one side, everyone else on the other.
If there is any intermingling or co-mingling, photos and video would not be allowed. “If you don’t have a picture, it never happened.”

Colt, you got the idea, I don’t want any Liberty guys messing with my Country Coach. Too expencive and technical for those guys to mess with.
Anybody who is so far behing the times as to use a rotary dial flip phone doesn’t need to mess with my coach.
And for the Marathon guy, well, he sold me some chrome wheels once so I guess he could polish something on mine for me (the least I could do)
Hey that guy even looks like the “Fearless Leader” doesn’t he.
I wont call hime the God Father cause I might wake up in Jeff’s parking lot with horse heads hanging off my beautiful Ramco mirrors.
