    Well the point of my original post wasn’t to decry or lament or wail about the fact of depreciation

    I was just looking to get some perspective from P owners on the shape of the curve, in order to help make trade-off decisions between new vs pre-owned; and if pre-owned, how old.

    A couple of questions on the FX…

    – Is an ancillary antenna/booster needed with our 45’ XL for the newest version? If needed, where is the recommended mounting spot, and what is the additional cost of the booster?

    – We have rubber valve stems on our toad. Do I need to replace them with brass/metal stems to prevent stem deflection and resulting potential leaks?

    – We use remote temperature sensors pretty extensively (battery bay, wet bay, referigerator, OAT). These all play well currently on the 433 MHz band. My understanding is that this is the same frequency band that is used for TPMS systems. Should we expect dropped sensors, interference, or have to choose between the TPMS and our current remote temperature sensor setup??

    – What is the recommended receiver setup? I currently use a hardwired VMSpc system running on a small Asus Windows 8.1 laptop/tablet that is bluetooth capable. Will this platform suffice? Can it be set up to run in a concurrent or secondary window with VMSpc on my current machine?

    Every time someone tries to clean their engine and sprays water all over the place an alarm sounds in the dash area.

    I am not suggesting that as a way to test them, but on more than one occasion someone has posted about the alarm.

    I had never heard of Twain Harte, CA, so I looked it up and I see it’s not too far from Sacramento.

    We are down south in the California Desert.

    I assume ‘Done’ means that you bought it, congrats!
