Fire Alarm??
So what do these 2 things do, and they are suppose to be 24v and I have 12v going to them why 24v?? They are on same junction with antifreeze circ pump, So if I change pump to 24v fire alarm will now be 24v?

They are engine fire alarms. The ones on my coach are 24 volt. 12 volts may not be enough to run the fire bell.

What are the chances those alarms will still work after 23 years or so? Is there a way to test them?

Every time someone tries to clean their engine and sprays water all over the place an alarm sounds in the dash area.
I am not suggesting that as a way to test them, but on more than one occasion someone has posted about the alarm.

As long as the wire terminals are not corroded then they are still good. If you have an engine compartment fire the internal conductors melt together and power the alarm bell (or buzzer, depending on the year of your coach) in your dash.

I contacted the company Fenwal on info on fire system on testing and components in system, I sent a picture of schematics and ask what is the Pezo and resistor for in circuit. and they said they don’t make that model anymore and ask Prevost about installation.
