Mine is an older coach with the O5G Carrier Bus Compressor and think mine kicks in and out like your car. Pulls clutch in as needed. By the way have a Carrier O5G Bus 41CFM that I bought a year or so ago and after checking all mine needed was a seal. Fully loaded with dual belt pulley and clutch on ready to go. Was/is charged with Nitrogen if anybody needs one.

The Colorado boys can probably tell us where Borgnine’s bus is now.
We are lucky to have a few celebrity owned buses tracked through the years.

Like I said before, Lifepo4 is not for everyone, but you do get what you pay for.

While I was having some service done at Prevost Nashville last fall, “Almost Chrome Metal Polishing” was polishing the the stainless on quite a few coaches there, mostly entertainer coaches. I saw them bring back the shine on a couple of coaches that were really dull. I asked some folks about them and the people that I spoke to recommended them highly. I don’t have any personal experience dealing with them.
If you get to that part of the country…maybe.

This is great news, Currently Live in Green Bay Wisc, lake home near Elkhorn Wisc. easy access to Butler Wisconsin. Went to Inlands Website and they are a complete service center for Allison and Detroit Diesel. When I get the Coach, I now have a great recommendation for a service center. Thanks Dick.

I am a little surprised that so far no one has suggested the original poster contact Steve Bennett at Arizona Luxury Coach to inspect the coach he is considering. I don’t know Steve personally nor have I ever talked to him, but a two time Prevost owner for whom I have lots of respect for speaks very, very highly of Steve. As I understand Steve’s history, he has been around luxury motorcoaches for a long time. He formally owned California Luxury Coach and moved to Arizona a number of years ago. If I were buying my first or seventh Prevost in the Phoenix area, I would have Steve do an inspection for me: (480) 923-6515 is his number.

What an adventure for those kids!
I am amazed that they don’t have a shore cord.
We rode in one like that back in 1997 touring Canada from Vancouver to Anchorage, AK, traveling through the Yukon. The rear part of the bus beyond the accordion was a lounge and restroom.
The tour company had a ‘lead car’ warning oncoming traffic that a huge bus was coming. Good memories!

Why did your TOAD use any gas?
247 MPG is good mileage for a toad considering it is having to push that heavy bus.
