That’s a project in my near future. I was just hoping to get the coach repainted before (or while) doing that update. Just can find anyone who is willing to do a 1 color paint job for less than $15,000 and less than 6-8 weeks. SIGH!

Like the rafter fix. I’ve never been able to get the rafters put up with the pole. Always get out the stepstool.

Called zip dee about the seam sewing. Some are sewn, some are “welded”. Customer service didn’t have much info on what “welding” meant and what it is.

I have some clear coat issues I’m looking at getting addressed. Put that on the nice to have list over the need to have list. Of course my front cruise are started to act up this week. I think it maybe the solenoid, have. Spare, will.see about swapping it out and hopefully that fixes it. If so, clear coat, if not, newer coach with roof air 🙁 (I’m about done with a bad deployment of a subpar option).

I threw out 1 Cruise air so just have 2 working units. The converter left only 1 7000 BTU unit connected to the 14,000 BTU Cruise air so it would never work. Wish I knew it when I bought it but that’s water under the bridge.

No one knows what’s wrong with the DDEC and I have given up hope of anyone ever figuring it out so I just go up hills really, really slow. Otherwise, it’s great!

Just went there and had the top end done. Amazing place and people.

We had an opportunity to speak with the owner, Bruce Mallinson, and he gave as a complete tour of the facility.

The floor of all the garage bays was cleaner than my house. Bruce’s knownledge

and passion was incredible. There will definitely be another Pittsburgh Power

appointment in our future. They have an electrical engineer that can rebuild

your DDEC. Call them, you won’t be sorry. I told Bruce he should be an

advertiser on Prevost Community. If you get him Tom, we can split the commision.

While I was having some service done at Prevost Nashville last fall, “Almost Chrome Metal Polishing” was polishing the the stainless on quite a few coaches there, mostly entertainer coaches. I saw them bring back the shine on a couple of coaches that were really dull. I asked some folks about them and the people that I spoke to recommended them highly. I don’t have any personal experience dealing with them.

If you get to that part of the country…maybe.

I will be removing my Zip Dee awnings this weekend and starting my paint work. Not sure, i will be reinstalling them, I think these busses look more streamline without the awnings sticking out.
