Yes, that happened to mine once awhile back, but then it came back and has continued to work. I will keep the good information, just in case. Thanks

Give me a call at East Tennessee Luxury Coach. We don’t really do sales but if you want someone’s free opinion i don’t mind helping. We generally have a few customers interested in selling/upgrading that might have what your looking for.

Jerry and Pam: I’ve learned over the years that it isn’t good to start an engine (especially a diesel) to just “start it and warm it up” without taking it out and driving it. If the engine/trans isn’t brought up to full temperature which from my experience with our coach in cool, cold, or very cold weather is almost impossible to do, there isn’t enough temperature to “cook out” any condensation and blow-by that ends up in the oil pan or transmission sump. I will start the coach if I have to reposition it, but once I’ve got it moved I shut it off. Our coach has sat for months and started without a problem. I think its better to let them sit versus “warming them up” without taking them out for a good 40 to 60 mile run.

No GPS device is 100%. I you depend upon them for your routing you will eventually regret that decision. That doesn’t mean you should not use a GPS device (I use Google Maps exclusively without issue) but you cannot use them with some kind of blind immunity. I have come upon a terrible crash on the Interstate and Google said to take this side road. Double checked the route on the paper map we always keep handy and have avoided HUGE delays by taking some of those byways as a somewhat slower speed. Slow and steady wins the race! (Sometimes!)

You can get condensation inside a sealed garage. Air has moisture in it. It is called humidity. When the humidity is high and the air is saturated a temperature drop can create fog or rain.
When air that is saturated is warmer than objects such as an engine block, the skin of the bus, wheels, etc the moisture in the air will condense on those surfaces. The engine block got condensation on it because the outside air warmed faster than the engine block and since the air was close to 100% humidity the condensation was because at the cooler engine temperature the moisture in the air formed a liquid instead of remaining as a vapor.
My garage is bone dry, but on occasion with high humidity I will occasionally get condensation. Even a couple of degrees temperature difference and saturated air is all it takes.

Dick, I had that happen on my 1998 Prevost Series 60. As Jon said, check the breakers above the engine. I had a breaker above the engine fail without tripping. Check each breaker with a test light. Prevost did not have the breaker so they wired around with a fuse. Coach would start from the rear but only turn over from the front drivers seat.

Most Prevost doors i have swung are all a little stiff. It comes from the weight and how rugged the hinges are.

I hesitated to post this earlier and still feel uncomfortable with what follows.
If you are comfortable that the problem according to the code is in fact not real I believe the sensor you replaced can be bypassed from the system and the wire leads jumped to get you to service. A Detroit service facility or the Detroit 800 number can confirm that.
But you have to be confident it is a sensor problem and not a real problem, obviously because the real problem will destroy the engine as you drive for service.

Meritor will send you this gauge, It is to measure the free stroke of the slack adjuster, and it also measures stroke between short and long stroke brakes, It’s been a a couple of years since I messed with the brake calipers so I can’t remember everything. I found the proper free stroke on gauge is 1/2 turn back. Between that old Meritor brake Video and the Meritor hand book, Really helps understand the Meritor/Rockwell 1560 ADB (air disk brakes)
