speedometer repair
Anyone had recent experience sending out 25 plus year old VDO speedometer for repair?
ie where
Bought a new one and cannot get it too calibrate. VDO was not helpful, techs could not tell me sequence to save.

North Hollywood speedometer (818)761-5136 I bought new spedo from them they put correct miles on it like old one, They shipped it back all ready to go explained how to calibrate it, They do all LA fire trucks Nice People

What was going on with your speedo before you replaced it?

April of 2019 The Odometer would go blank but it still added miles but it would blank out, North Hollywood Speedometer had me send them old speedometer and sign a document that miles were correct on old one, and programmed new one to match

Yes, that happened to mine once awhile back, but then it came back and has continued to work. I will keep the good information, just in case. Thanks

mine blanks out or jumps scrambled then comes back. been like that for a year or so. just waiting for it to die.

Mine does that now but, for now, it works more often than it gets scrambled and never lasts more that the very first part of a trip. Keeping fingers crossed but now have a good option if it finally does go tits up!
