I did that measure distance thing on Google maps and it shows the distance from the front of platform 1 to the split between 2 and 3 to be at 38 feet or so. I don’t doubt Jon did it so, must be enough length to get the drive/tag over the split with the front axle on 1.
You gotta admit it gets more funny looks when you go on backwards . . . and push the talk button with broom handle after running around your bus.

I tried the card a couple of days ago at the pump of a listed station. It said declined, so brought it inside and it was also declined. Called TSD and they said the station has to use Trendar? when they process the card. I’m hoping the big players use the Trendar? system as I would like to try the card once just to see what the discounts are. When I called TSD they said I would be getting a daily update from Prevost Community every day with discounts? I thought I would be receiving an email daily from TSD? Still trying to find out if this card will provide a discount great the Profit tools.

I said we has a Solaris but it was really the Solare shown above (actually an exact knockoff).
The grill we have now is Mr Steak. We picked it up at Cabelas and it’s online if you go to the Cabelas site. The smaller one is the single burner and only costs $229. Awesome grill. It’s a bit heavy but I never carry it very far. We took it to the beach the other day to cook some burgers at the beach for lunch! Awesome. MI and Lake MI is a great area to spend the Summer. No resorts for us, we want to be close to the water!

I think thru Canyon would be faster but in Yellowstone maybe longer is better.
The perfect person to respond would be someone who drove buses there for 15 years. I bet you can find one.

If the front end is down and you have fiberglass fenders, making a tight turn will destroy your fenders. If you have the older rubber ones you will be OK. The air for the air bags is different than the air for the brakes with is why the air pressure came back up again. You can stop but you still have no air in the air bag(s). The 2 front ones are tied together so losing air in one will cause the loss of air in both. The rears are separate so knowing which bag is blown will help. That also assumes that it actually is an air bag. Were you able to SAFELY get under the coach to see if maybe an air line simply came loose?

Which air bag(s) is it. Give as much info as you can .
All depends on which bag(s), if tires are rubbing something and you`ll probably need to block off air to that bag(s) to get to repair facility. Thankfully it wasn`t one of the steer bags.

Our coach came with a very nice stainless steel portable electric smokeless grill. We have not used it yet so it’s brand-spanking-new looking.
We really don’t cook, we either eat out or buy cooked food and warm it up in the convection oven if needed. Our cook-top in the coach has never been used either.
In the past, I grilled outside with a small round electric grill when we had the Dynasty but just haven’t gotten around to in in almost 5 yrs. now!
I don’t think I would want a built-in grill even if we grilled unless it was very easy to clean. I can imagine that it might make the inside bay smell if not cleaned thoroughly.

I bought the Camping World covers originally for our Country Coach. I bought the largest size, since I knew we were going to upgrade sooner or later. The Country Coach ended up sitting for about two years twice because of certain circumstances, and the tires developed sidewall cracks. While the covers may or may not help, I thought they were cheap enough to be worth the potential benefit to keep the tires from cracking, although I still use 7 years as a tire life maximum. So far I have had no cracking in the tires on this coach, and I will be replacing them this year. The covers have held up well, and fit well. I put them on anytime the coach sits more than a week.

Ronald, our setup is either exactly the same or at least very similar. The results are outstanding.
We kept Dish as we use it in the house and move the Hopper and Joey to the bus when we travel. Sometimes, like when I’m at Jeff’s (ETLC) and my better half is at home, I just use Dish Anywhere (streaming) to get all the Dish channels without having the Hopper and Joey on the bus. Of course, smart TVs are required for Dish Anywhere.
Having a dual SIM unit with AT&T/Verizon keeps us connected virtually anywhere. We also use discounted gift cards to further reduce our mobile account cost. While we need this level of connectivity for business, it also gives us great access to all the streaming apps. For instance, should weather block the Dish signal, many times I can go to an app and finish watching a live broadcast.
We don’t have a Dish tuner for the basement/outdoor TV. I just use Dish Anywhere to stream, via our high speed bus network, to the TV. It is very quick since it only goes from the bus Trav’ler – Dish Hopper – WiFi to the TV.
Like you, satellite is no longer a requirement. If we did not already have it for the house, we might not bother with it.
Also, there really is no need for an in-motion dish. Streaming solves that problem. We frequently run with music via Amazon Prime Music or Pandora.

IMHO, there’s two huge differences between a Newell and a Prevost:
1) Chassis (Prevost wins)
2) Availability of Factory (chassis) Service (Prevost wins)
With that said, there’s a lot to like about the newer Newell coaches. They are true custom coaches and they will build you just about anything you want. The interior fit and finishes are simply gorgeous and they are spacious. The Newell owners (those who purchased new coaches) I’ve spoken with seem to be very happy with their coaches…even though they need to return to Oklahoma once per year for the annual checkup.
Another advantage to Newell’s is their steerable tag axle as it truly is a pleasure in tight spaces. (I learned to drive a motorhome in a Newell with a steerable tag).
Alas, the previous post is correct (at least from what I’ve learned) is that they can be difficult to sell outright for a reasonable price. But on the other hand, I took a bath when I sold my Marathon so I guess it’s fairly even in that regard.
