One thing I always here from people is how nice the paint is on my coach, then they ask if it is original, which it is and they are very impressed. I thought I read somewhere he used a double clear coat process on it…anyways, paint still looks amazing 14 years on and the design is cool as well…

Michael is going to be a problem. I have called Bella Terra and alerted them that he is driving a 45 year old schoolie with a roller applied paint job.

I would have a significantly greater problem concerning braking rather than towing capacity. A heavy trailer if it breaks traction will push a pickup truck all over the place.

To ad confidence to Jon’s research(which is superfluous): I can say that the 5 way 3 position Norgren is a K81EA00KACKAC – what Jon said. I replaced that valve in the steering compartment about six years ago, and that was the Norgren part number on the valve. I put a rebuild kit in it (piston, o-rings, grease) so while it sits on the shelf, it won’t fail.

Can’t say anything to the 3 way, 2 position norgren – yet.

    Dale,

Who did you try for mobile service? Prevost turned me onto not the best company when I had an issue in west ATL. Ended up calling W.W. Williams (they have a site on the south side of ATL, so should be close to you).

Try to give them a call. I was rather happy with their service tech who came out and helped me out.

I added them to the PC Map, so you can get their contact info from that.

I do have the SMX controls. The heat exxchangers DO come on and blow air (cold).I have 2 as well in the same locations. I ahve never noticed a button in the bathroom labled heater (but I will look). there is no mention of the SMX controls running the Galley heater. I have followed the instrutions in the manual. BTW I have had the toe heaters work several times. . Don’t know what is happening. .

Rely on what Jeff tells you.

Sounds like you’ll be faced with a dilemma. One or both. Once you’re at Jeff’s … you’ll never replace the second one any cheaper or with less inconvenience to you and your trip!
