Thanks Jon,
No sense beating your head against a wall with Prevost. I’m just looking forward to getting my million miles out of the Duralite!

Prevost Car lists the specs for current production buses, but I do not know if they provide access to specs on older coaches.
Depending on what you want and how hard you are willing to work for the information the service manuals for the model years have a section with the dimensional specifications. I do not know if they include things like turning radius or axle weight limits. I do know heights are converter specific so if that is what you need you are not likely to have luck. The converters add A/C units, satellite dishes, rear spoilers, vent fan covers, antennas, etc so that information is coach specific.

Thanks for the data points, everyone. Dick, I have a 14ft step ladder so I’m ready…haha! Greg/Deb…gotcha…I see that plug, so I’ll use that. I believe that all our filters are after the tank, so that should do it.

Hi Jon,
Understand what you are saying about the hardships of using Inverters to run a couple roof top or Cruisair units when driving.
However, since our coach has OTR air…are we ok using just inverter power for running the refrigerator, lights, etc.? (Would guess generator would be needed anytime we use convection oven/microwave?)
We will soon be heading out West to CA…and, just want to ensure we are not improperly “training/draining” new Lifeline house batteries.
Chassis batteries are new – but, would expect alternator to care for keeping those fully charged.
Didn’t know if there were additional concerns or things we should be doing for crossing deserts this time of year?
Thank you…just starting to drink from the fire hose and have a LOT to learn. 🙂

Don, as long as it is working leave it. But if you get a dash light for voltage or balance, just stop, verify the voltages are OK, remove the signal wire and order the replacement.

Unfortunately blaming Obama (2008-2016) is wrong. “Pain” as the fifth vital sign was adopted by the JCAHO JCAHO in 1996. As has been reported this occurred due to a pre-meditated push by the drug companies campaign to cure the epidemic of untreated pain. Many truly immoral physicians were bought off and helped brew this disaster. Those physicians truly are “pushers.” Look at the number of questionable “pain clinics” there are all over the country and you can see the extent of the problem. It was and is criminal and has created one of the top medical disasters of our time – all in the name of greed.
As a physician educated over 35 years ago I was taught you do everything possible to NOT give narcotics to patients. I went to medical school at Pitt. There was a pitcher for the Pirates named “Doc Medich” who became an orthopedic surgeon and had his license suspended for narcotic use that started during his professional baseball career. He would come every year and discuss how narcotic treatment ruined his career and much of his life. His message: Don’t ruin people’s lives!
Unfortunately too few people have John’s view of pain. I have been sworn at and threatened when I have refused to give narcotics out like candy. Too many in our society expect everything to be pain free and easy. Blame goes far and wide from drug companies, administrations of both parties who bow to the lobbyists, some in the medical profession that too often put greed ahead of morality and too many in our society looking for the quick fix (no pun intended).
The cure will take generations I am afraid. It truly is a national tragedy. I’ll get off the soap box as I’m way off topic.

Thank you Al. I do try to share stuff.
Hish… The “factory” copper does have a slight rolled lip.
****BUT THAT NOW makes me wonder if the piece of residential 3/4″ copper that I had to use to make a custom size ( 2 1/2″ total length ) coupler must have rolled lips and two clamps? Will it move? Will it fail? This “custom” coupler I made does Not have a lip on each end.
AND because of extremely limited space, I am not able to use two hose clamps.
Used 3/4″ copper pipe to match the factory size copper and because no 3/4″ couplers were available from NAPA. Hose size is 7/8″
Hoping to head out on 4,000+ mile trip just after mother’s day.

YES…..I just went through an issue that was all a result of the correct year of the coach on the title. I purchased a 2006 Royale Coach a few years ago. It had a 2005 identifier on the vin, which identifies the conversion as a 2006.
Due to some back and forth with the original owner, the title wasn’t immediately available for us to view and we took possession of the coach with the title showing up several weeks later.
Fast forward to a month or so ago, I traded the coach and during the transaction, it was discovered that the title was issued in Montana and for some reason was described as a 2005. So…..when TN issued my title to me, they used the previous title to date the coach and I received a 2005 TN title.
The tag agency manager even agreed it looked wrong (lots of Prevost MH’s in Tennessee), but they were unwilling to change the date on the title without proof the coach was a 2006. Only a few ways to validate the date:
1). Previous title (which was wrong)
2). MSO (MFG Statement of Origin)
3). Original sales contract
Well…..#1 was out as it was incorrect. #2 was impossible to get as Royale Coach is now out of business. I even contacted Royale Phoenix to see if they could help. No go. #3 was out as the PO had the coach registered in Montana and the law firm destroyed all documents related to this coach when it was transferred to my name.
So……long story, but I had to accept that my once 2006 Royale Coach was now a 2005 Royale Coach. Believe it or not, that little mistake cost me money. during the trade in process.

Jon, good thoughts. Certainly would not rely on other folks weight information to apply to me. I agree weighing is the only way to do it, each wheel at a time. I’m thinking about a different coach I was just curious if the H3’s are more heavy overall than an XL II. Just looking for general comparison. I know what my weights are.

Tom is correct. The antenna length determines where the end of the antenna gets placed, but it works.
I ran mine into the steer compartment and then fished it rearward going over the top of the steer axle arch and ending at the rear of the fuel tank under the tank support.. After 5 years of use I can count the number of occasional “lost signal” notifications on my fingers.

My iPhone app works fine. I’m able to log in as usual.

Well – guess what… the 110V power failed last night but the Webasto was working this morning. I’m turning on the genset – charging batteries and insulating water pipes at home. How much fuel does the Webasto burn? I think I can run my generator for a few days until this global warming passes!
