There is an annual cost that must be understand by any buyer of any equipment.
If you don’t want to be stuck on the side of the road you must do the these maintenance chores. Jon you know as a former aircraft owner, annual is required and not an option, why would anyone think Prevost is just a car and do the upkeep when they are good and ready. Proactive maintenance cannot be an option$$$$$. -
If what Davy says is true, if you run into a situation like that……….get out of there.
If you have a 50 amp receptacle, a 50 amp breaker and wiring for only 20 or 30 amps the wiring infrastructure is going up in smoke.
BTW, we have stayed at that RV park and it has not “cheated” on their shore power. I suspect the guy who made the statement about 25 amps did not understand how 50 amp power is a misnomer, and it should be called 100 amp.

We have three spaces left for the seminar. If you have an interest don’t miss the chance because we are limited to 20 attendees.
We are at work making this seminar better than the first. We have had some great feedback and if the first one was helpful, this one is going to be even better.
Those attending should bring their questions and should plan on coming away from the seminar with the comfort that comes as a result of having a good understanding of your coach.
The three Buskateers (Jeff, Jon and Tom) will be available all weekend to answer your questions, and they promise most of the answers will be correct.

Jon,
Is there an easy way to tell if the ugly fix is working when plugged in? When I get my coach back I want to stop the EGR function to keep as much crap out of the engine and oil as possible.

My logs include date, miles and every thing done no matter how minor. I keep a running spreadsheet, scary, and all records are digital PDF.

I’m a little surprised that Inverter Services couldn’t help you out by recommending an appropriate relay.

He passed this morning at 5:07, and she is making arrangements as required at this time.
Meanwhile, Sandy is helping where possible. Sandy and I have reservations here long enough to see her off.

this estimate came from my local Detroit dealer. Clarke power….initially coming in we found evidence of coolant leak at the pressure cap of the coolant system, causing coolant visible on the engine door. We replaced cap and ran unit, there are no external leaks on the system. However after short runs of less than 100 miles there is a loss of aproximatly 2 gallons from the system. Detroit says there is coolant via testing in the exhaust, and that is the only place for it to go since there is no external leaks and nothing in engine oil by looks or increase in level. They did see a increase in pressure on the coolant system which would make sense also for a head crack. One issue is they want to pull the engine to pull the head. I realize if it is deeper in the engine they could be required….
for or now taking a step back and making many phone calls.

Terry,
if the windshield rubber gasket is in good shape you should not require and type of sealant. The rubber welting or strip that is forced into the groove after the glass has been installed applies adequate pressure between the glass and the gasket to make a tight seal. If you leak, before you seal the glass to the gasket try to locate the entry point. It might not be at the gasket at all but might be where the fiberglass cap attaches to the steel above the windows. Start at the bottom with a water flow from a hose and work you way up and around the gasket. If you just flood the entire front of the coach you don’t know the origin, just that there is a leak.
Please add a signature line as almost everyone has done. Answers to your questions can be more accurate. Additionally, the use of all caps is considered “shouting” and some see that as rude.
