Mr. M,
I was told and now full subscribe to the saying, “If you are not working on your RV then you are falling behind.”
By chance are you a member of the RROC?

I live in Georgetown, not far from Austin. I 2nd Jon suggestion of LaHacienda RV Park. We have had RV Rallies their with our Bluebird club and really enjoyed it.
The downside right now is Lake Travis has turned into a mud puddle due to lack of rain and the soles of Austin still trying to keep their yards like it was spring all year round.

We love Hilton Head also…..the Motorcoach resort on the island would be a wonderful facility for a Rally….

Gran,
I don’t know how Vantare set up your coach or what charge rate your inverters are set to, but it is entirely possible a bad battery can draw so much charging current the breaker trips.

It’s like most things… something so easy turns out to be more complicated.
I decided to wait until my next stop to get this all sorted out. If the stems need to be replaced I want to make sure I am taking it to a reputable shop that has experience with equal and all that..
My guess is to remove/change the stems you have to unmount the tires? If that is the case, then I could have them confirm equal is in all tires etc.
The root problem is all the tire work was done by the seller… date codes are all good but I have no paperwork on what was done and who did it.
Sid I have the new Kane covers just caught up with them this weekend they look great… I hope to get them installed next week with the equal cores so we can cross this off the list and keep rolling…
Thanks
Bill

Those caps are worth their weight in gold. I can see how the short stems might be a problem but the dealer should have offered a solution.

Guys, don’t over think this one. Put something like this between the air box and the vents. You would Y the output to support how ever many defroster vents you have. The only possible challenge is finding a place behind the dash.

I forgot this place is also an authorized Allison center. Gary

Correct, the clock starts on the day of installation, however if the tire is 10 years from the date code regardless of when installed all tire companies treat it as junk.

Paul,
The mid to late 90’s was about as good at you could get with the XL’s. I had 4 of them and all but one was very simple and straight forward as far as complexity goes. Parliament is still in business, servicing coaches and is one of our Advertisers. You’ll probably hear from Bill Bunch, he has about the same year as you’re considering and knows Parliament inside and out.
I don’t know of anyone having insurance problems. Even though you’ve done your homework, your should really think about a PDI if you get serious. You didn’t mention where the coach is located, but Prevost would be your best bet.

George & Cory,
Chances are you will need A-Arms and it’s painful. Mine were gone at 101K.

Hmm. Interesting. I had forgotten Tom “Flash” Flood work for Beaver. So this may have that show coach or possibly the one before it which the Hicks own in OKC buying it about the time of POG OKC. Theirs is Bus 12 and has Astral windows and was owned by Neil Lynch at one time
