Mr. Mark … what kind of surface finishes does your new Liberty have? Are they using Nuvacor?”

Dick, we have wood veneer walnut cabinets and walnut covered walls and trim, padded walls, tiled backsplash behind the kitchen sink and tile and wood wall in the 1/2 bath and fabric trim around the living room windows.

When we ordered our wood, Liberty wanted us to pick it out asap as it takes awhile to get it.

I looked up Nuvacor and I don’t think we have that product in our coach.

James Island Campground will accomodate you and they have a shuttle to downtown. Sometimes reservations are difficult.

Thanks for the information guys, we plan on getting the brake chambers from a truck supply. We will check those brake parts too while we’re in there. Dan, thanks for the info on the other cans, if we can’t pick up the standard ones the 30’s may be the way!

It has been a few years since I had the 97 Liberty. However, as I remember the blinds were on the same circuit as a gfc. Look to see if any of those has tripped. If I remember, in the 97, it was the circuit with the reset in the litchen area.

Hope this helps since I have not had the coach since 2004.

    Tom,

It was fairly “tight” to get into the space and we filled the back end slot completely… With your previous admonition, I was prepared for the circumstances (and I thank you). The park was clean… we did not have satelite because of the trees but preferred the shade because it was so hot….. as you know, this is an animal lover’s park and everybody had “show” dogs or horse trailers…. We liked being close to the other attractions…. (the museums, stables, Etc.) I was able to get in two days of practice at a local golf club before my tournament at Notre Dame… so the park fulfilled its’ purpose… Literally, as I was getting out of the coach to “rig down”, the vocal told me that our gray water was approaching full. We were there three nights…

With a reasonably proper admonition to any user, I would recommend the park… there are no others of which we are aware…

Thank you again and to Jon as well….

If I were going to guess at this point I would have to guess you might very well be right. We have driven in heavy rains before with no issue of water getting in. It’s only after pulling the slides in following recent rains that we seem to have the problem. I’ll let you know what we find.

I got the final bill for the starter solenoid. It was $313. Now I have a light on the dash “Starter On” and it won’t go off. So I think they hooked some wires up wrong.

Anyone ever have this light go on?

My reason for asking is my manual says that while on shore power to run inverter #1 to keep the batteries charged. I thought that installing the new one in the #1 position might be a good idea…

    Mike

99% of the time we don’t access the engine comparment through the inside of our client’s coaches. Since we are working on engines everday we figuered out that its easier to either pull the engine out completely, or pull it out far enough to service what is needed to be worked on (i.e. in-frame overhaul). Its also helps that two of our mechanics who have been working for the owner for 35 years are skinny enough to disconnect or reassemble what is needed for any particluar job!!!

On top of that, by pulling out the engine, it allows us to inspect the entire engine for other possible issues that you wouldn’t see if it was left in. Dealerships don’t want to take the time to pull the engine because its adds a bit more time which affects their bottom line. But the time it takes to prepare the inside of a bus for a dirty mechanic to come and go with engines parts is to much of a risk of ruining the inside of a beautiful coach.

And just to be clear, we don’t charge clients more for pulling the engine to work on it. We have this factored into our pricing for everything we offer.

If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to us!

    Thanks

    Good Morning PC,

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Its been raining in Lakeland!! I guess hence the name Lake land? We had a great meeting with Ken Robertson on Friday. He and the Parliament staff are super excited about the upcoming event. One of the things that we did nail down, for those that have asked, Rick and Ben will be attending the event and of course providing what they do best, share their vast knowledge when it comes to your coaches. We are super excited about their involvement and very appreciative to Ken for allowing them to leave their job at Parliament for a few days to join us. I will be fianalizing an agenda shortyly, just have one or two more loose ends to tie up!

    Talk to everyone soon!

Unfortunately I have to buy valves whose size will work with the manifold.

As a practical matter I want 90 degree ball valves, and even if they leak a small amount the only time they will be off is when servicing the coach or checking a system leak rate. Under all normal operations every valve will be in the open position.
