Just saw this thread for the first time. Lot size and budget will dictate the size of whatever structure is built, but having built 2 bus barns in the past decade my advice is put in a 16×14 roll up door. Both of mine had somewhat of tight ingress/egress and this allows for that as well as gives you room to sneak other vehicles around a parked bus.

I guess I’m running against the grain here, but on short steep grades (16% or so) I lock in 1 to prevent unnecessary wear on shift clutches. Of course, I’m also usually pulling a 15-20,000# trailer.

One of the previous owners of my coach had replaced the air ride with electric captain chairs. They are big chairs. Very comfortable. However, I have never been able to get either seat to work. Doesn’t bother me because mine is positioned where I like to drive and Tammie’s positioned where she like to sit. It would be nice to be able to adjust them.

That seems like a lot of wear in 52,000 miles. It would appear if accurate you are using approximately 2/32 per 10,000 (a little more than you average in a year) so going down to 5/32 will take a little more than a year at which point your tires will have 7 years of age.
The only set I came close to wearing out had 130,000 on them and 1/4″ (8/32″) of tread when I got rid of them. Truckers get a whole lot of miles out of tires, sometimes in excess of 200,000. I would find out if the dealer was BSing you about tread depth, and if not find out why you have so much wear.

Late word is a representative from Lifeline is going to be at the seminar also. It is going to add significantly to your knowledge and understanding of batteries and you definitely are going to come away with information you need to determine if you will get Li or AGM batteries for your next set.
I am certain the cost of the seminar will be insignificant compared to the knowledge gained and how much it might save you in future expenses relating to your coach.

Talked to Prevost in Houston about ordering these lights. They said they had lost their vendor on these and currently they were not available. Heavy Duty Bus Parts said they had 80 in stock at $63.

It’s hard to imagine a company like Michelin not making tires for their customers. We have 365’s on the front and tag, 315’s on the drive axle.
