i have Halogen Docking lights. Is there a significant increase in light out put with these LEDs ?

Are they simple plug in on a 2007 XLII?

You might have a multiplex coach. Be very careful what you think you want because even a simple change in the type of a light could require expensive reprogramming.

I found them at Heavy Duty Bus Parts Inc 936-344-9957 for much less $$, pt# 07-38900.

But, on my bus they are NOT plug and play. The 2 cast aluminum frames that surround the bulbs need to be modified so as to make them work, the electrical connection is different too. This project hasn’t floated too the top of my list yet, and the old halogens are still working.

i don’t think I have a multiplex coach but not certain.

I have replaced all the cargo lights with the new style LEDs as well as the interior ceiling lights. These made such a huge difference that I was interested in changing the docking lights also. If the others worked would these be different?

Mark, if you have multiple modules in cast aluminum housings in place of rows of black relays your coach is multiplex. Your year is at the point of changeover and could be either type of system, but if you already switched some chassis lighting and that lighting was a different type which changed the electric load and you got no faults listed in the message center the chances are you are not multiplex.

Your VIN would let you know which system you have if you want to check it out on the Prevost Car web site.

I put these on my 2011 Liberty with multiplex, and other than getting an error msg in the message center, they worked great. Much brighter and cooler.

i see no aluminum modules, just breakers and some black modules. I guess this confirms it is not a multiplex coach ? I could not find where to get confirmation on the Prevost Car site.

Not a multiplex coach. Change lighting anytime you want and no need to reprogram it.

Talked to Prevost in Houston about ordering these lights. They said they had lost their vendor on these and currently they were not available. Heavy Duty Bus Parts said they had 80 in stock at $63.
