I had an upper pin stick in my rear slide because it was misaligned. Bill Jensen with Prevost came over to my bus during a rally in Kerrville and had me hold the slide out switch while he gently tapped the pin. Worked like a charm. I did that routine with my bride holding the switch for a year until I finally had the slide aligned. Also, if you get the pin to retract and the slide to open, clean out all of the pin pockets on the slide out and coat the pockets with dry graphite.

I used to own an 06 Royale and became an expert on that generation slide systems. I had fits with mine. Went through several slide controllers until I found the right combination.

I called HWH last Friday morning and they tell me tech support will get back to me within 14 days. Not much for customer service on their part. After more trouble shooting it appears i have a bad solenoid valve, i don’t have the means to be under the bus without proper support to identify the bad one and replace it. So i am waiting until my next 2 week stop at my Sons house where i can properly support the bus and get under there to take care of it. I’ll let you know what i find within the next few days.
