An aux system that goes from 120 to 0 in three minutes doesn’t have a leak, it has a blowout. You should be able to hear that leak.
I have never been lucky enough to have a single leak so big it was easy to find and it was the only one. My leak detection efforts always seemed to be many small almost imperceptible leaks that were found one at a time with a lot of effort.

Replacing a leaky hub seal is not an unusual maintenance need. It involves a couple of hours of work and $50 or so in parts. It is covered in an article that was recently added to our list of articles so you can see if it is something you want to do yourself or have done at a service shop.
I would urge you to deal with this promptly. The immediate concern is as it leaks your brake shoes and drums are getting a gear lube oil bath. The leaky hub seal is likely coating your brake shoes and compromising the brake effectiveness so it is a safety issue.
I seriously doubt if you have concerns about the bearings, but you are losing differential gear oil and if you delay long enough without refilling the differential the bearings will eventually suffer, and running with a dry set of bearings is a sure way to twist the end off your differential end making what was a relatively inexpensive repair a very expensive one.
As to seals and bearings I am of the opinion if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. If you do not have a leaky seal on the other side I would recommend against replacing it just because the other side leaked. I know of no logical reason why some seals fail after some time in service, yet others seem to go forever. I am not aware of any published life expectancy for seals.

Thanks for the replies. It has gone flat sometime since last Friday when I drove it onto the property. It has not been driven under inflated. It is the outer port side drive tire (no valve stem extension) and has an inflate-through double seal valve cap. I have an external compressor that I keep on the bus and I put about 40PSI back in the tire. I soap sprayed the valvle stem and cap and it is not leaking. No audible leak, but I have yet to start and raise the bus to travel height. I am going to re-check the PSI in the morning. I am hoping it can be repaired, but thanks for the heads up Gil in making sure I use somebody that stocks the Michelin replacement tire.
We have Good Sams and not AAA for roadside. Does anybody know if it is worth calling Good Sams on this? I was not aware that AAA would cover the repair (if repairable). My understanding is either service will cover the service call but not the repair or replacement.

Maybe it is the remote that you put a quarter in the round spot there and then look to see if your bed is vibrating. HA!

There is a manual available from Prevost, AS/R-T, Owner”s Manual Le Mirage XL, Factory-Prepared Conversion-Ready Luxury Motorcoach.
I suggest you order a copy. Many questions can be answered with the manual. Keep a copy next to the drivers seat.
Back to the bulbs……..page 5-26 contains a chart of bulbs supplied by Prevost.
Oil pressure is not called out speciffically, but is possibly covered under “other” and indicated to use prevo#560144 or SAE 1820, 1.6 candle power 24 volt.

This is the only Prevost drawing that I have had for my bus and it is pretty much how my bus is plumbed. It is a little hard to see at times but I have outlined in yellow the route from my wet tank to the front brake tank and aux. tank.

Hi Will,
Good to see you posting here. Hope the bus is running good now.
I agree with Will that the Wade KOA is nice and close to I-95.

The I-95 exit 53 campground is called ‘Green Acres’, all sites are wide, pull thru with 50A service, but its not paved (or level) with lots of trees.so get there in daylite. It’s cheap – I recall around $30 for full bookups , but no security, and there’s a run down trailer park right next door. Use your own discretion.
