Hi everybody, this is Jill – Andy’s better half. We spent the winter in Tucson and liked it well enough that we ended up registering our 1999 Prevost Country Coach and our toad in AZ. When we contacted Miller about the necessary insurance changes they quoted us $62000/yr through Progressive for agreed value! This is the same coverage we currently have, just moved to AZ. Yikes! In Michigan, which has the highest insurance rates in the country, our premium was about $4800. We are full-timers – we don’t have any home, apartment, etc., to go back to or to attach the liability part of insurance to, so I do know that our insurance is more costly than when we were “land-based”. We have one ticket between us in the last forever number of years and no accidents. So, a couple of questions for the community..
(1) Has anyone heard that AZ is a very high-cost state for MH insurance? Roxanne from Miller told me that this is the case, but would be interested in hearing from others with information on that point.
(2) I read through all of the comments about agreed value vs accepted value. As I mentioned we currently have agreed value. However, Roxanne told me that if one has a current professional appraisal (which we do) that the insurance company will go by the appraisal if one has accepted value. Hmmm, am I missing something?
(3) Roxanne told me that within the last very short amount of time (didn’t mention the number of days but I took her to mean maybe since the beginning of March) that National General stopped writing new insurance for Prevosts. Are there any other companies – perhaps through Overland or one of the other highly-regarded agencies – that write full-timer insurance for Prevosts?
(4) Does anyone have any suggestions that might help us reduce the cost of our full-timer’s insurance while staying with reputable agency that knows how to deal with Prevosts?

I don’t know how it got to be a bus. I couldn’t find a pic of our Wanderlodge so I had a pic of our custom tractor. It sure is pretty, but I didn’t choose it.

Guess I’ll have to figure out how to get those little pictures and coach info onto the bottom of my questions like everyone else. Didn’t even realize coach info wasn’t there. Turns out these o-rings are quite small and finding a source is turning into a bit of a chore.

Could be a shot in the dark…..check your outside faucet in the water bay and make sure both the Hot and Cold valves are closed and not left on by mistake and water shut off from the shower head……Water will mix in the system and will not get hotter than 90-100 F…

Ok so I have trying most of the night to upload the pictures that I took yesterday. My computer has been strange for about a month but now it is pretty much worthless. The new windows is horrible. I will work with our IT guy today and try to get it corrected or replaced.
Anyway without the visual here is the info:
The Corn Roast area is .2 miles from the auction and .4 miles from the Cessna building.
The Raider Club is 136 steps to the Cessna building.
The Jet Way is 39 steps to the Cessna building.
If it’s possible to upload pictures through my iPhone please let me know how and I will update the post.
