How about finding out how much my butt swings when pulling away from a curb by seeing a geyser where a fire hydrant used to be (on the street in front of the DMV after registring my first bus)? How about, after learning that lesson, looking for obstacles on the ground only, and not noticing a tree branch impinging on my butt swing space at 11.5 feet up?

Steve,
The normal discharge to 50% is 12.2 and many of use that as our set voltage to start charging, so not sure where you’re hearing about the 12 volt. Discharge to 12 volt is normal.

Something is blocking or restricting air flow to the turbo charger or there is a leak in the exhaust system up to the turbo, or the turbo is the wrong size or has problems.
I would have expected to see 21 to 25 PSI boost.

Wow Tom you are running with some fast company.

Joel,
I don’t follow that logic. Why would you not put new tires on the steer and move the steer to the drive? Tires rubbing because they were on the steer then mounted side by side on the drive? I don’t get it.

Our 1992 40 ft XL Beaver conversion, all three cruise airs are behind front bumper with a Prevost installed air activated shutter system. We can’t heat with ours, we rely on the webasto convector heaters (5) inside.

I don’t think owning a Prevost draws negative attention to the owner but it certainly does draw attention. As with all RV’s, open the engine compartment and very shortly at least one man is going to show up to chat. We blew a belt the other day and I got a new one. As I was working to remove the other belts to get to the inner most one that blew someone showed up asking if I was installing a new belt (new belt there on the ground). I said I was. He said, “it didn’t break did it?” I said “would I be replacing it if it didn’t? I blew itself to kingdom come despite the fact that I checked all belt with the engine running before I left our last destination 25 miles from here.” I had to go back to the tool box and when I returned less than a minute later he was gone. Was that me? The preception? Should I have been more “gee, I don’t know what happened” and wasted an hour or so chatting with this stranger when cocktail time was coming up quickly? I don’t like working on my coach but I work on my coach on a regular basis. Unless you want to do the work for me, why are you here? Does that sound bad? It does now that I am reading it, but I just want to get some work done and get back into my home!

Can’t help there. Looks fairly easy, but on my two coaches that have had the Headhunter there was some trim involved to hide some of the valving or to make it fit without gaps between the toilet and the wall.

Yeah,
The little electric grill will get hot but not super hot. I like my steaks medium (slightly pink in the middle). I am by no means a cook or griller…. this little grill and I get along, we understand each other. LOL!
Safe travels,
Mark

This is exactly what has been going through my mind. As some of you may know, we are thinking strongly of having a new coach built and the grill choice has come up.
Currently, we have a small round electric grill that works perfect. I can grill a couple of small fillet’s in about 20 minutes (10 min. on each side). I’ll usually add some fresh squash along with onion all wrapped up in foil seasoned with olive oil and pepper.
Neither one of us are cooks, we eat out 90% of the time or buy cooked food from the local grocery store. The only time we really ever cook is when we are in the motorhome. Our electric cooktop has only been used twice in 7 yrs. The convection microwave gets a good workout.
So, my dilemma, do we spring for a built-in nice expensive grill or keep our little round electric grill that works so easy.
Anyway, it’s interesting reading everyone’s input on what they choose.
MM.
